PERENCANAAN DAN PEMBUATAN MESIN HOT PRESS DENGAN SISTEM PNEUMATIK BERBASIS CONTROL RELAY CR

ABSTRAK

Dalam penelitian ini akan dirancang dan dibuat suatu mesin Hot Press untuk memproduksi daun tiruan khususnya dan produk-produk sejenis yang membutuhkannya. Pada mesin ini dilengkapi dengan silinder pneumatik untuk memperoleh gaya tekan maupun gaya tarik pada cetakan. Gaya tekan digunakan untuk proses pembentukan daun tiruan dan gaya tarik untuk proses pelepasan daun tiruan serta dipasang pemanas Heater pada cetakan atas maupun cetakan bawah untuk mendapatkan panas pembentukan sehingga kain daun tiruan mudah dibentuk. Disamping itu mesin ini juga dilengkapi temperature control untuk mengendalikan temperatur pemanas Heater dan Timer untuk setting waktu penahanan Holding Time cetakan. Metode penelitian ini mencakup pengumpulan data spesifikasi produk perencanaan urutan kerja mesin analisa konstruksi dan pemilihan material untuk rangka mesin. Dengan bantuan Sofware CATIA V5R14 dengan masukan berupa pemodelan rangka sifat-sifat mekanis material dan pembebanan maka distribusi tegangan yang terjadi pada rangka mesin dapat diketahui. Pada Top Holder-Silinder Pneumatic diperoleh tegangan maksimum sebesar 2.09e005 Nm2 yang terjadi pada bagian bawah Pneumatic-Holder. Setelah diperoleh Overall Transfer Function dari system ini maka dengan bantuan Sofware MATLAB akan diperoleh Time-Respons dan Frequensi response. Kestabilan system ini dapat diketahui dengan Metode Routh-Hurwitz akar-akar karakteristik dari transfer function -551907 dan -2092 menunjukkan bahwa system ini stabil-absolut.


ABSTRACT

In this study will be designed and manufactured a machine Hot Press for producing artificial leaf in particular and similar products that need it. On this machine is equipped with a pneumatic cylinder to obtain a compressive force or tensile force on the mold. Compressive force used for the formation of artificial leaves and the pull to release the artificial leaf and mounted heater Heater at the top of the mold and the bottom mold for hot forming so malleable fabric artificial leaf. Besides this machine is also equipped with temperature control for controlling the temperature of the heater Heater and timer for setting the hold time Holding Time mold. Methods This study includes data collection product specifications machine work order planning analysis and selection of materials for the construction of the machine frame. With the help of CATIA V5R14 Software input is the modeling framework the mechanical properties of materials and loading the stress distribution which occurs in the framework of the machine can be known. At the Top Holder-Pneumatic Cylinders obtained maximum voltage of 2.09e 005 N m2 which occurs at the bottom of Pneumatic-Holder. Having obtained Overall Transfer Function of this system then with the help of MATLAB Software will be obtained Time-Response and Frequency Response. The stability of this system can be determined by Routh-Hurwitz method the roots of the characteristic of the transfer function and -2.092 -551.907 shows that this system is stable-absolute.
