CHARACTERISATION OF INDOOR PROPAGATION CHANNEL FOR WLAN SYSTEM DESIGN

ABSTRAK

The channel characterisation is a substantial issue in wireless indoor communication systems design. It is capable of figuring out the radio coverage and the maximum data rate which are the main parameters of systems. This paper presents a statistical study of propagation based on measurements of propagation channel in 2400 MHz. Such channel parameters power loss delay spread coherence bandwidth as well as the number of paths are evaluated in order to provide as important parameters in WLAN system design.
