NOVEL DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLIGENT CONTROL SYSTEM USING ADAPTIVE FUZZY METHOD FOR INVERTED PENDULUM

Inverted pendulum is a classical system for controlling its stability. This study will discuss how to develop control techniques so that the pendulum remains in upright condition so called adaptive fuzzy control method. The result obtained was a system with fuzzy controller and feedforward controller more adaptive with standard deviation for the steady state error for 0.047rad and settling time of 2.1 seconds compared to the systems that only use the Fuzzy Logic Controller with a standard deviation of 0.102rad and settling time of 5.3 seconds.
