ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan unjuk kerja dan polutan yang dihasilkan dari bahan bakar cair premium dengan bahan bakar gas LPG dengan menggunakan sistem injection tipe 1. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen experimental research. Peralatan uji dalam penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 Tahun 2011. Standar pengujian emisi gas buang berdasarkan SNI 19-71118.3-2005 dan standar pengujian performa mesin berdasarkan SAE J1349. Peralatan dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah exhaust gas analyzer rpm counter oil temperature meter chasis dynamometer stop watch fuel meter injector konverter kit timbangan digital dan blower. Bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah bahan bakar gas BBG jenis elpiji. Pengujian dilakukan di Laboratorium Pengujian Performa Mesin Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT Unesa. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dari pengggunaan bahan bakar LPG dan bahan bakar premium untuk kisaran putaran 3000 rpm - 9000rpm adalah dalam penggunaan bahan bakar LPG terjadi penurunan torsi sebesar 1329 penurunan daya mesin sebesar 1675 penurunan tekanan efektif rata-rata sebesar 1297 peningkatan efisiensi thermal sebesar 638 penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik sebesar 828 penurunan kadar emisi karbon monoksida CO sebesar 8569 penurunan kadar emisi karbon dioksida CO2 sebesar 3286 dan peningkatan kadar emisi hidrokarbon HC sebesar 9279 dibandingkan dengan penggunaan bahan bakar premium pada sepeda motor Supra X 125 cc tahun perakitan 2011.


ABSTRACT

This study aimed to compare the performance and pollutant resulting from liquid fuel premium with gas fuel LPG using injection systems type 1. This research type is experimental research. The object in this study is Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle. Exhaust emissions testing based on ISO standards 19-71118.3-2005 and testing engine performance based on SAE J1349. Equipment and instruments used in this study are the exhaust gas analyzer rpm counter and oil temperature meter chassis dynamometer stop watch fuel meter injector converter kit digital scale and blower. The fuel used is gas fuel with LPG type. The test carried out in the Testing Engine Performance Laboratory Mechanical Engineering Department of Unesa. The result show that using LPG fuel and premium fuel for rotation approximately 3000 rpm 9000 rpm in using LPG fuel decrease torque 1329 decrease engine power 1675 decrease the effective pressure average 1297 increase the thermal efficiency 638 reduce specific fuel consumption 828 reduce emission of carbon monoxide CO 8569 reduce emission of carbon dioxide CO2 3286 and increase level emission of hydrocarbon HC 9279 compared with using premium fuel on Supra X 125 cc motorcycle which is assembly in 2011.
