ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membuat animasi dari pasukan yang bergerak mengikuti leader pada permainan lume war. Animasi untuk pasukan NPC dalam permainan lume war dapat bertindak tanpa dikendalikan secara langsung oleh pemain dan bergerak sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan dan juga kondisi dari hero. Dalam pengaturan perilaku pasukan NPC ini akan digunakan metode flocking behavior berbasis agent untuk diterapkan pada pergerakan berkelompok pasukan NPC agar memiliki perilaku sesuai dengan skenario yang dibuat. Dari riset ini nantinya diharapkan ada analisa untuk mendapatkan visual kerumunan yang baik pada game lume war menggunakan algoritma boids. Sedangkan manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan kontribusi terhadap penelitian yang berhubungan dengan animasi pasukan perang dan memudahkan penelitian selanjutnya untuk membuat visualisasi gerak dari kerumunan yang lebih baik lagi.


ABSTRACT

This research is addressed for making an animation of a moving troop that follows a leader on the Lume War game. The animation for NPC troops on lume war game can act without directly controlled by the player and it can move harmoniously with the environmental conditions and also the condition of the hero. Agent base flocking behavior methods are used in the adjustment of the NPC troop therefore the troops behavior is in sync with the given scenario. The objective of this research is to have an analytical base to achieve a good visual of crowds for the Lume War game using boids algorithm. Whilst the advantage for this research is to contribute in the research for war troops animations artificial intelligence and also to facilitate further research to make better crowds movement visualizations.
