PENGURANGAN FLICKER PADA VIDEO ANIMASI KUNO MENGGUNAKAN WAVELET TRESHOLDING

ABSTRAK

Sampai saat ini video animasi masih menjadi tontonan yang menarik untuk anak-anak atau orang dewasa jika lm animasi tua memiliki kualitas audio- visual yang modern seperti yang diinginkan penonton maka penonton akan tertarik pada lm. Film animasi tua memiliki beberapa jenis kerusakan seperti icker noise bercak dan pergerakan benda-benda divideo yang kurang halus. Pada penelitian ini tahap awal yang dilakukan adalah pembagian video ke dalam 30 frame. Transformasi wavelet dilakukan pada frame dengan melakukan transformasi pada semua baris yang menghasilkan matrik dimana sisi kiri berisi koe sien low pass down sample dari setiap baris dan sisi kanan berisi koe sien high pass dengan memilih tipe wavelet Haar dengan dekomposisi 5 level. Flicker pada setiap frame yang telah dikenali sebagai masalah Gaussian noise. Pada nilai koe sien-koe sien wavelet dilakukan proses tresholding pada koe sien detail menggunakan Bayesshrink. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dinyatakan berdasarkan data hasil yang didapat dengan menghitung PSNR hasil denoising pada citra menggunakan trasnformasi tipe wavelet Haar memberikan hasil yang baik dan video yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas gambar yang lebih halus dengan diperolehnya nilai MSE dan PSNR setiap citra inputan hasil denoised pada citra masukan Popaye memiliki nilas MSE 0.02392 dan PSNR 45.4977 Steamboat dengan nilai MSE 0 .0173 dan PSNR 45.9974 dan Felix dengan nilai MSE 0.01908 dan PSNR 45.4822.


ABSTRACT

Since rst time old video animation was created children and adult still interest to watch. however the old video animation still have poor visual quality such as icker noise blotces and less smooth movement. Various research try to make the old video animation much better in visual technical side with various method. Reduce icker is one way to make old vidoe animation increase visual side. To reduce icker in old video animation probelm in this research used wavelet tresholding method. Wavelet transform are performed on frame by performing transformations on all the lines that generate the matrix. The type of Haar wavelet decomposition level 5 are to decomposition process. Flicker in each frame has been recognized as a Gaussian noise. The results of this research has been done based on video Popaye Steamboat and Felix are obtained MSE and PSNR value. For Popaye input image has MSE 0.02392 and PSNR 45.4977 Steamboat with MSE 0 .0173 and PSNR 45.9974 and Felix with MSE 0.01908 and PSNR 45.4822.
