ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mempelajari hubungan antara tutupan vegetasi dengan kondisi air bawah tanah di daerah lereng utara Gunung Bromo dengan menggunakan teknologi inderaja dan sistem informasi geografis. Kondisi air bawah tanah didekati dengan menggunakan data tentang debit air maksimaL debh air minimal dan persentase perubahan debh air. Dari data inderaja diturunkan informasi tentang tutupan lahan oleh vegetasi dan bentuk muka lahan. Tutupan lahan oleh vegetasi didekati dengan menggunakan NDVI. Informasi tentang muka lahan yang dhurunkan dari data inderaja chra satelh Landsat TM5 terutama dhujukan untuk mengetahui pola spasial garis-garis antiklin. Informasi garis-garis antiklin digunakan untuk mencari daerah yang mempengaruhi suatu sumber air secara visuaL Data yang dhurunkan dari data inderaja kemudian disusun dalam format vektor menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcView. Dengan menggunakan teknik sistem informasi geografis selanjutnya dilakukan operasi overlay untuk melakukan interpretasi visual hubungan antara tutupan lahan dengan parameter-parameter penduga kondisi air bawah tanah. Uji korelasi digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat korelasi antar variabel. Hasil interpretasi visual dan uji statistik memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang erat r -0855574 antara variabel tutupan vegetasi lahan dengan persentase. Sementara hu kecenderungan korelasi yang erat terdapat antara tutupan vegetasi lahan dengan debit maksimal r 06374 dan antara tutupan vegetasi lahan dengan debit minimal r 06842.


ABSTRACT

This research aims is to know the correlation of vegetation land cover and ground water condition at Northern of Gunung Bromo Pasuruan using remote sensing and Geographical Information Systems technology. Ground water condition is approached using some variables such as maximum debit minimum debit and water debit change percentage. Derived from remote sensing data Landsat TM5 image are vegetation land cover approached using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index NDVI and spatial distribution of anticlin lines. Anticlin lines are used to visually identify water area catchement of each well. Information derivation from remote sensing data was done using ArcView GIS software. All of data were ground water conditions and data generated from remote sensing data then overlayed using GIS method. The result of overlay operation then was visually interpreted and statistically tested. Statistical tests show that there are a strong correlation r -0855574 between vegetation land cover and percentage of debit change a trend of correlation between vegetation land cover and maximum debit r 06374 and minimum debit r 06842.
