Determining Ergonomics Factors Which Influence Operator Working Performance By Using Taguchi Method

ABSTRAK

Lingkungan kerja fisik merupakan bagian yang harus diperhatikan dalam sebuah sistem kerja produktif karena secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi kinerja sistem khususnya bagi manusia yang bekerja di dalam sistem tersebut. Beberapa faktor yang termasuk di dalam lingkungan kerja fisik adalah temperatur intensitas dan arah datang pencahayaan dan kebisingan. Penelitian ini akan mencoba seberapa signifikan pengaruh faktor-faktor lingkungan tersebut terhadap pekerjaan pemeriksaan inspeksi terhadap profil aluminium dengan mengaplikasikan metode Taguchi. Data yang dikumpulkan selama peneiitian meliputi identifikasi faktor data eksperimen awal dan eksperimen konfirmasi dan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode Taguchi. Pengolahan data eksperimen untuk mehhat pengaruh faktor-faktor noise terhadap rata-rata kinerja operator dilakukan Analisa Variansi ANOVA terhadap data mentah sedangkan untuk melihat pengaruh faktor-faktor noise terhadap variabilitas dilakukan Analisis Variansi ANOVA terhadap data mentah yang telah ditransformasikan ke dalam rasio SN. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan faktor-faktor noise yang diperoleh selama tahap identifikasi faktor yaitu temperatur tiga level intensitas pencahayaan tiga level arah datang cahaya tiga level dan kebisingan tiga level. Dari analisa faktorial diperoleh faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap rata-rata kinerja operator yaitu faktor temperatur dengan level optimal 2 dan kebisingan dengan level optimal 2 juga. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh-pengaruh tersebut ditentukan dengan menghitung prosentase kontribusi faktor. Dari kombinasi optimal faktor dan level akhirnya diperoleh nflai rata-rata optimal dan nilai rasio SN optimalnya. Untuk menguji validitas hasil percobaan awal dilakukan percobaan konfirmasi. Nilai rata-rata dan rasio SN yang berada di dalam interval kepercayaan percobaan konfirmasi akan memberikan kesimpulan bahwa penentuan faktor dan level optimal yang dihasilkan oleh percobaan sebelumnya telah memenuhi persyaratan dalam hal akurasi dan validitas.


ABSTRACT

Physical working environment is an important part that should be considered in a productive working system since directly or indirectly such factors may influence working performance especially for people who work in that system. Some factors included in that physical environment are temperature Hght intensity and direction and noise. This research will try to identify how significant those factors are towards inspection work in aluminium profile division by using Taguchi method. Data collected during this research consist of identification of prehminaiy experiment data and confirmation experiment and then analyzed by using Taguchi method. Experiment data processing to find influence of noise toward average operator working performance is conducted by using Variance Analysis ANOVA to raw data meanwhile to identify noise factor towards variability is used Variance Analysis ANOVA towards raw data after being transfonned into the Tatio of SN. Experiment is conducted by using noise factors derived during factor identification stage they are temperature in three levels light intensity in three levels hght drrection in three levels and noise in three levels. From the analysis factors derived which influence average operator working performance are temperature factor with optimal level rn two and noise in the same optimal level. Whereas level of influence of those factors detennined by calculating factor conrribution percentage. From the combination of optimal factor and leveL finally identified optimal average value and SN ratio value. To test vahdity of preliminary experiment a confirmation experiment is conducted. Average value and SN ratio which stay in the interval of confirmation experiment gives conclusion that detennination of optimal factor and level produced by previous experiment have fulfiHed the requirement of accuracy and validity.
