Description:

Suatu sistem daya yang terdiri dari beberapa mesin (sistem multi mesin) yang terhubung secara interkoneksi melalui jaringan transmisi tidak lepas dari adanya gangguan. Gangguan yang terjadi (hubung singkat, putusnya penghantar, switching, atau load shedding) dapat menyebabkan hilangnya sinkronisasi yang mempengaruhi kestabilan sistem berupa perubahan tegangan dan frekwensi sistem. Berdasarkan sifat dan besarnya gangguan, analisis stabilitas sistem dapat diklasifikasikan dalam stabilitas keadaan mantap (steady state), keadaan transien dan keadaan dinamik. Gangguan berat yang bersifat mendadak pada sistem daya memerlukan analisis stabilitas transien, hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui waktu pemutusan kritis untuk setting Recloser dalam mengantisipasi terjadinya ketidakstabilan sistem. Metode yang umum digunakan untuk analisis stabilitas transien satu mesin adalah metode kriteria sama luas sedangkan untuk stabilitas transien multi mesin adalah persamaan ayunan. Usulan metode pengembangan kriteria sama luas (extended equal area criterion=EEAC), bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode kriteria sama luas yang dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan untuk analisis stabilitas transien multi mesin. Ketika sistem daya multi mesin mendapat gangguan, mesin yang mempunyai percepatan awal terbesar merupakan mesin yang sangat terganggu (severely disturbance machine=SDM) sedangkan mesin lain sisanya diekivalenkan sebagai bus tak terhingga (infinite bus), sehingga sistem menjadi satu mesin dengan bus tak terhingga (single machine infinite bus=SMIB). Metode EAC diterapkan pada SMIB untuk memperoleh batas-batas stabilitas (power transfer, power angle, critical clearing angle) dan metode step by step diaplikasikan untuk memperoleh waktu pemutusan kritis (critical clearing time=CCT). Perangkat lunak yang dirancang menunjukkan bahwa pengujian terhadap data dan hasil yang diperoleh memperlihatkan kesesuaian dengan yang terdapat pada referensi.

The power system which is consist of some machines (multi machines system) connected by interconnection through transmission network is not free from disturbances. The disturbances (e.g. short circuit, opened circuit, switching, or load shedding) can cause loosing of synchronization that influence to the stability of the system in formed changes of voltage and frequency of the system. Based of the characteristic and the scale of the troubles, system stability analysis can be classified on steady state, transient state and dynamic state stability. Hard trouble that has immediately characteristic to the power system needs transient stability analysis. It is done to know the critical open time for Re-closer setting to anticipate system instability event. The common method used to one machine transient stability analysis is extended equal area criterion (EEAC) method, whereas for multi machines transient stability use cradle equation. The proposal of EEAC's method, has an objective to apply EEAC's method that can be used and developed to the multi machines transient stability analysis. When the multi machines power system has some disturbances, the machine which has the largest initial velocity will be the severely disturbance machine (SDM), while the other remainder machines to be equivalent as infinite bus, so that the system to be one machine with single machine infinite bus (SMIB). EEAC's method to be applied on the SMIB to obtain stability boundaries (power transfer, power angle, critical clearing angle) and a step by step method to be applied to obtain critical clearing time (CCT). The software which was designed to show that the verification to the data and the result which obtained show the synchronization with existing references.
