ABSTRAK

Bengkel assembly block kapal didesain untuk out put 2 block kapal per had sampai dengan saat ini target out put tersebut belum tercapai. Untuk mencapai target tersebut perlu diadakan suatu perencanaaan dan pengelolaan manejemen bengkel yang baik. Dalam memecahkan masalah ini agar tercapai target aout put sesuai perencanaan perusahaan maka dilakukan simulasi bengkel assembly block kapal dengan pendekatan line of balancing. Assembly line balancing adalah merupakan suatu metode penataan aliran produksi agar terjadi keseimbangan pada semua line produksi sehingga memberikan efisiensi tinggi pada setiap line produksi. Assembly line balancing dimaksudkan untuk mencapai target produksi optimal yang mana setiap pekerja tidak mempunyai waktu menganggur dan line produksi berada pada kondisi beban penuh dengan prosentase rata-rata lintas keseluruhan yang sangat seimbang. Line of balancing berarti adanya keimbangan out put dari setiap tahapan operasi dari suatu line produksi. Pemecahan persoalan line of balancing ini juga dilakukan dengan menentukan sejumlah stasiun kerja berdasarkan jumlah aktivitas dan waktu siklus yang dikehendaki. Dalam pemecahan permasalahan yang diimplementasikan pada PT X maka target out put 2 block kapal perhari dapat tercapai sesuai dengan perencanaaan perusahaan. Dari hasil simulasi manual yang dilakukan maka tercapai prosentase rata-rata lintas keseluruhan pada setiap stasiun kerja sebesar 9444 sedangkan hasil simulasi komputer menunjukan prosentase rata-rata lintas keseluruhan pada setiap stasiun kerja sebesar 9446 . Untuk implementasi line produksi aplikatif secara manual tercapai prosentase keseimbangan line rata-rata sebesar 9915 dan untuk implementasi line produksi aplikatif hasil simulasi komputer mencapai 100 .


ABSTRACT

A ship block assembly shop is designed to produce two ship blocks per-day this target has not been fulfilled yet. To overcome this problem a shop management plan is developed. To reach the expected target a simulation of ship block assembly shop is made using line of balancing approach. Assembly Line Balancing is a method of positioning production flow to reach a balance condition in order to increase the efficiency of production flow. The aim is to achieve the optimal production which there is no break of worker task and the production line is in full load condition with the whole line average percentage in a very balance condition. Line balancing means that is an output balance must be occurred at each operation stage in a production line. This can be achieved by establishing numbers of workstations based on the amount of activity and the desired time cycle. In this case study implemented to PT X the target of two ships block sections per day can be achieved consistently with the company planning. From the manual simulation results it shows that the line average percentage as a whole in each working station is 94.44 and by computer simulation is 94.46. For the implementation of production line the value of line average balancing percentage is 99.15 manually and 100 by computer simulation. Hence virtually a balance occurred in all production lines.
