STUDI KUALITAS AIR PADA JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI KOTA JAYAPURA

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kondisi umum kualitas air pada penyediaan air bersih Kota Jayapura menganaiisa korelasi jarak antara lokasi konsumen dan sumber air instalasi terhadap kualitas air yang diterima oleh konsumenpelanggan dalam upaya mengetahui apakah jaringan disbibusi sudah berfungsi sesuai fungsinya yaitu menyalurkan air tanpa merubah kualitas air. Wilayah Studi adalah Daerah Abepura mengingat daerah Abepura mempunyai jaringan distribusi yang baik dengan ketersediaan data yang cukup lengkap dan hanya khusus daeran yang mendapat suplai air dari Reservoir Waena. Parameter Observasi untuk indikasi kualitas air yaitu Total Zat PadatTerlarut TDS Kekeruhan Sisa Klor dan Coliform. Hasil pengukuran dibandingkan dengan baku mutu air minum yang berlaku di Indonesia untuk mengevaluasi kondisi kualitas air. Metode Least Square digunakan untuk menganalisa hubungan atau korelasi antar variable dalam penelitian ini. Meskipun ditinjau dari parameter TDS dan Kekeruhan air telah memenuhi persyaratan baku mutu air minum. Sedangkan ditinjau dari parameter coliform air tidak memenuhi baku mutu air minum Korelasi yang rendah untuk hubungan antara jarak dan TDS r 0.031 begitu juga untuk jarak dan kekerunan r -0.462 artinya selama air mengalir di jaringan distribusi tidak terjadi perubahan TDS dan kekeruhan. Korelasi tinggi antara jarak dan coliform r 0.713 begitu juga antara jarak dan Sisa Klor r -0.735 artinya selama air mengalir di jaringan distribusi terjadi perubahan coliform dan Sisa Klor. Korelasi tinggi antara coliform dan sisa klor r -0.752 artinya jumlah coliform tergantung konsentrasi sisa klor.


ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research are evaluation of general condition of water quality at supplying clean water in Jayapura evaluation correlation of distance between consumer and water installation sources to water quality that accepted with consumer customer to know that did distribution network as some as the function that supplying water without change of water quality. Study area was in Abepura remembered Abepura had good distribution network in complete data preparation and special district where get water supply from reservoir Waena. Parameter of observation to indicate water quality such as Total of Solid Dissolved TDS Turbidity Chloric and Coliform ResL Measuring result was compared with drinking - water quality in Indonesia to evaluate condition of water quality Least Squares method was used to analyze the connection or correlation of variables in this research. Although observe from TDS parameters and Turbidity the water had completed base condition of drinking water quality. While observe from Coliform parameter the connection between distance and TDS r 0031 also between distance and Turbidity r -0462 those mean as long as water flow in the distributjon network so nothing happen changes of TDS and turbidity. High correlation between distance and coliform r 0713 also between distance and chloric rest r -0735 those mean as long as water flow in distribution network changes of Coliform and chloric rest High correlation between coliform and chloric rest r -0752. Mean amount of coliform depend on concentrations of chloric rest.
