ABSTRAK

Usaha Kecil Menengah UKM pengolahan pangan berbasis terigu memiliki peranan dalam mendukung perkembangan perekonomian masyarakat secara luas dan mampu menyerap sekitar 50 dari produksi terigu nasional. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha tersebut merupakan target market yang potensial. Bogasari Flour Mills harus mampu mengidentifikasikan kebutuhan pelanggan tersebut dan mengintegrasikan dengan seluruh sumber dayanya. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendukung kemajuan Bogasari Flour Mills melalui pemenuhan customer expectations dengan pendekatan Quality Function Deployment. Pendekatan ini bertujuan merancang produk yang kompetitif dengan cara menghubungkan antara kebutuhan konsumen dengan sumber daya yang dimiliki perusahaan. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan menganalisa Whats Customer Need dan berdasarkan hal tersebut perusahaan berusaha memenuhi keinginan konsumen tersebut yang dijabarkan dalam Hows Technical Descriptors. Hubungan antara Whats Hows akan memberikan gambaran efektifitas dari usaha yang dilakukan perusahaan. Technical Descriptor yang dinilai sedikit memberikan pengaruh pada customer requirement dapat dipertimbangkan untuk dihilangkan. Interrelationships Technical Descriptor menganalisa level keterkaitan antar Technical Responses apakah sinergis atau tidak agar kegiatan perbaikan lebih efisien. Penelitian ini juga mempelajari tingkat kompetitif produk baik ditinjau dari customer competitive assesment atau technical competitive assesment sehingga memberikan arahan target yang realistis dalam melaksanakan perbaikan. Technical Response akan dilaksanakan sesuai penilaian prioritas yang didasarkan pada tingkat efektifitasnya dan bobot relatifabsolut dari usaha yang dilakukan perusahaan. Analisa prioritas dapat mengantisipasi keterbatasan sumber daya perusahaan. Seluruh kegiatan yang dilakukan tersebut di atas akan memberikan kejelasan product planning yang akan dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini dapat dilanjutkan lebih jauh yaitu dalam hal Design Deployment Manufacturing Planning Production Planning. Pada akhirnya implementasi penelitian ini akan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan teknis produktivitas kualitas pengurangan biaya waktu pengembangan produk dan rekayasa teknis.


ABSTRACT

The Small Medium Enterprise SME of food processing with flour as raw material have supported social economic and consumption around 50 from national flour consumption. It is shown that SME is a potential target market. Bogasari Flour Mills must identify the customer need and integrated with its resources as a key success factor. This research have been conducted to support Bogasari Flour Mills improvement by customer expectation fulfill ness with QFD. This method is used to design the competitive product by correlating customer need and companies resources. First this activity analyze whats customer needs. Second it connects to companies resources as hows that technical descriptor influence one or more customer requirements. Relationships describe the relation between customer needs and technical descriptors. Technical Descriptors which has no significant influence on the customer requirement has been ignored from further process. Company applies technical descriptor after that we analyze interrelationships between technical descriptor whether synergize or not they each other and so that improvement activity can be performed more efficiently. The research also investigate product competitive level by looking at customer competitive assessment or technical competitive assessment. It gives realistic target of development activity. Priority of customer requirement is analyzed to anticipate limited resources of the company. Priority is considered as the base for technical difficulties target level and relative weightabsolute weight of activity. All of the activities will clarify product planning of the company. This research can be continued and extended into design deployment manufacturing planning production planning. Finally this research can increase technical knowledge productivity quality cost reduction technical engineering and reduce time of product development.
