Rate Distorsion R-D Optimized Video Streamming with Feedback from Receiver

Pada transmisi video melalui internet di dapat kemungkinan besar adanya paket-paket yang hilang packet loss dan variasi beban pada bandwitdh yang besar. Hal ini merupakan sumber network congestion yang dapat mengganggu laju komunikasi data. Banyak teknik error kontrol yang digunakan untuk itu yaitu error resilience FEC forward error control retransmision feedback dan error concealment. Dalam tulisan ini diusulkan perencanaan error kontrol yang optimal pada scalable transmisi video dengan teknik video coding FGS Fine Granularity Scalability yang merupakan perbaikan pada video coding MPEG-4. Sistem ini bekerja dengan retransmission feedback dari penerima dengan pendekatan optimasi R-D rate distortionyang merupakan penyelesaian untuk penurunan mode enkoding pada masing-masing paket dan rate pengkodean kanal. Tujuan akhirnya adalah untuk meminimalkan semua distorsi dari sumber sampai tujuan. Simulasi sistem dilakukan dengan mentransmisikan video sequence pada teknik video cocling FGS dengan umpan balik dari penerima sebagai error kontrol dengan mengoptimasi R-D rate distortion yang mengacu pada kurva operasional rate distortion sebagai fungsi dari R-D. Dalarn simulasi yang dilakukan rnenghasilkan nilai pendekatan untuk ketahanan variasi beban pada bandwitdh kanal dan nilai unjuk kerja optimasi R-D rate distortionmelalui fungsi rate distortion dengan harga parameter Alfa 0.2 Q2 mempunyai efisiensi bitrare 200 - 300 Kbps dengan selisih PSNR 2 - 3 dB sedangkan perbaikan kinerja dengan feedback dari penerima pada PSNR 1 dB.


Video transmission through internet the possibility of big packet loss and variation of big bandwitdh. This matter represent source network congestion which can bother fast of data communications. A lot of technique error control used for that that is error resilience FEC forward error control retransmission feedback and error concealment. In this article is proposed by optimal planning error control at scalable video transmission with video coding FGS technique Fine Granularity Scalability representing repair at video coding MPEG-4. This System work by retransmission feedback from receiver with approach optimasi R-D rate distortion representing the solving of for the mode encoding degradation of each and rate channel code packet. Final purpose is to minimization of all distortion from source until the target. System simulation with video sequence transmission of video coding FGS technique with feedback from receiver as error control by rate distortion R-D optimized what relate at operational rate distortion curve as function from R-D. In simulation yield approach value for resilience of variation at bandwitdh channel and assess work rate distortion R-D optimized through function rate distortion at the value of parameter Alpha 0.2 Q2 having efficiency bitrate 200 - 300 Kbps with difference PSNR 2 - 3 dB while performance repair by feedback fromreceiver at PSNR 1 dB.
