ABSTRAK

Setiap manusia mempunyai ciri geometri tangan yang sedikit berbeda sehingga dimungkinkan untuk dapat digunakan sebagai ukuran identitas pribadi. Pengambilan data geometri tangan menggunakan system peralatan akuisisi yaitu data tangan kanan yang diletakkan pada posisi yang telah ditentukan pada permukaan datar dengan dasar putih. Data yang diperoleh yaitu berupa ketebalan jari tulunjuk lebar dan panjang dari masing-masing jari serta lebar tangan digunakan sebagai proses identifikasi. Proses identifikasi yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode statistik PCAAKU Principal Component Analysis Analisa Komponen Utama dan metode Neural Network Kohonen-SOM. Dengan membandingkan kedua metode diatas akan diperoleh kelebihan dan kekurangan dari masing-masing metode seperti waktu yang diperlukan untuk proses pembelajaran kecepatan dan ketepatan proses identifikasi serta kemampuan banyaknya data yang dapat dikenali. Dari hasil pengenalan masing-masing metode dimungkinkan untuk menggabungkan keduanya sehingga lebih menyempurnakan proses identifikasi.


ABSTRACT

Every human has feature hand geometry that little bit difference because of that its possible to use as personal identification. The data acquisition system is used to get hands geometry which is the right hand where places on certain position at flat surface with white background. The obtain data is finger height wide and long from each finger also hand wide that can use for identification process. Identification process is use two methods there are Principal Component Analysis PCA and Kohonen SOM Neural Network. By comparing two methods will be obtain advantages and disadvantages each method like how long times for learning process speed and precision identification process also ability total of data that can recognized. For perfecting identification process its possible to combine both methods.
