ABSTRAK

Keandalan sistem spread spektrum akses jamak tergantung pada karakteristik kode-kode yang digunakan. CDMA Optik Optical Code-division Multiple-Access merupakan salah satu penerapan spread spektrum pada media serat optik. Unjuk kerja dari suatu sistem CDMA Optik ditentukah oleh karakteristik dari kode penebar spreading code dengan mengevaluasi kinerja CDMA Optik yang memanfaatkan kode penebar yang terpilih. Karakteristik dari kode penebar ditentukan oleh sifat-sifat dari kode-kode yang digunakan seperti sifat korelasi sendiri korelasi silang dan spektrum kerapatan daya. Hal itu dipenuhi oleh kode prima modifikasi sehingga diperoleh sistem dengan performansi yang bagus. Kode - kode prima dan prima modifikasi dapat diterapkan pada O-CDMA mampu mencapai nilai BER 10-4 pada nilai EbNo 10 dB untuk 2 pengguna dan terus menurun sampai dengan BER 102 bila jumlah pengguna bertambah menjadi 4 pengguna untuk panjang kode penebar 49.


ABSTRACT

The BER performance of optical CDMA depends on the character of spreading code that use on systems. Optical CDMA is one of systems that use spread spectrum technologies which applied on fiber optic. The BER performance of optical CDMA system evaluated by choosing the spreading code that had good performance characterized by autocorrelation cross correlation and power spectral densities. Modified prime code is one of the spreading code that chosen the best with good performance. Prime code and modified prime code mat use on Optical CDMA could achieve BER 10-4 for BeNo 10 dB using two user and decrease with the change of user summation for the length of spreading code 49.
