ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh konsentrasi Foam Concentrate dari Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 terhadap nilai efektivitas ekonomis pemadaman kebakaran pada tangki penampung minyak gasoline kerosine gasoil. Perubahan persentase konsentrat dalamfoam solution mempengaruhi karakteristik busa mekanik dalam pemadaman kebakaran tangki penampung minyak Uji eksperimental pada simulasi kebakaran dilaboratorium Fire Ground Pusdiklat Migas dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai yang efektif dari penggunaan Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 yang dicampur dengan air foam solution. Metode Statistik dipakai untuk mendapatkan karakteristik busa mekanik dalam kecepatan pemadaman kebakaran pada tangki penampung minyak Studi statistik dan uji eksperimental dilakukan pada variasi foam concentrate 1 2 3 4 5 6 dengan campuran air 99 98 97 96 95 94. Hasil eksperimen dan statistik menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar foam concentrate Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 kecepatan pemadaman kebakaran minyak dalam tangki semakin cepat karena jumlah foam concentrate semakin banyak Untuk pemadaman kebakaran minyak gosaline pengaruh konsentrat terhadap kecepatan pemadaman kebakaran pada tangki minyak menunjukkan bahwa konsentrat 3 adalah paling efektif. Sedangkan untuk pemadaman kerosine dan gasoil prosentase efektif adalah 2 konsentrat Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70.


ABSTRACT

This research studies the effect of the Foam Concentrate Concentration of the Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 to the extinguisher effective and economical values in the gasoline kerosene and gas oil storage tanks. The changes on the concentration percentage of the foam solution affect he mechanical foam ability in extinguishing the fires in those tanks. Experimental test on the fire simulation in Pusdiklat Migas Fire Ground Laboratory was done in order to obtain the effective and economical values of the Fluoroprotein Foam concentrate FP-70 which was mixed with foam solution. In this case statistical method was used to determine the speed of the mechanical foam in extinguishing fires in the oil tanks. Statistical study and experimental test were done in the concentration foam variation ofl 2 3. 4 5. 6 with the water mixture of 99 98 97 96 95 94. The result of the experiment shows that the higher the foam concentrate percentage of the Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 the faster the oil fire extinguishing time in the tanks because there is a larger foam volume formed. In terms of economical value concentrate concentration of Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate FP-70 is the most effective one to extinguish gasoline kerosene and gas oil fires.
