ABSTRAK

Salah satu fungsi sungai adalah sebagai tempat menampung air dari air hujan maupun air permukaan yang selanjutnya mengalir ke laut. Dalam fenomena alam perubahan bentuk morfologi sungai sangat sulit diperhitungkan sehingga untuk mengetahui perubahannya diperlukan sebuah model sebagai solusi numerik Pada penelitian ini akan diteliti tentang bagaimana membuat model matematik untuk mengetahui besarnya gerusan di tikungan saluran pada daerah pertemuan sungai. Adapun untuk membuat model tersebut diperlukan aplikasi dari hukum kekekalan massa kekekalan momentum dan persamaan Akikusa yang diselesaikan dengan metode volume hingga dua dimensi yang didiskritkan dengan metode QUICK yaitu sebuah metode pada volume hingga yang mengubah permukaan kendali menjadi node. Selanjutnya dengan memasukkan data kedalaman dan debit ke dalam model matematika maka diperoleh penyelesaian dalam bentuk profil besarnya gerusan. Dengan pertambahan debit terjadi gerusan antara pias 8 sampai pias 12 arah memanjang sungai. Begitupula dengan pertambahan sudut tikungan yaitu yang diperbesar menjadi 536 pi terjadi gerusan pada pias 4 arah melebar sungai di daerah tikungan.


ABSTRACT

One of the function of a river is a water reservoir i.e. collecting water from the rain either surface water. It further flows to the sea. In the natural phenomenon the changing of the river morphology is very difficult to be solved analycally. However it is needed a model to be solved numerically. This research therefore considers about how to make a mathematical model for understanding how big scours near an open channel bend in a river junction. To build mathematical model it is needed an application of mass and momentum conservation and Akikusas equation. This model is solved by using two dimentional 2-D Finite Volume Method i.e. QUICK scheme method. This method converts a control surface face into nodal point of view. Further it is choosed of depth and volume flowrate data into the existed mathematical model to be processed so that it obtained a scour profile. By increasing the volume flowrate there exists a scour in grids of between 8 until 12 on longitudinal direction. In addition it is occurred a scour in the river bend when the angle of the river junction is increased i.g. increasing the angle of 536 pi in grid number 4 causes a scour.
