PENENTUAN MEAN PROSES YANG EKONOMIS PADA DESAIN TOLERANSI MENGGUNAKAN SPC DAN MODEL FUNGSI KERUGIAN KUALITAS

DETERMINING ECONOMIC PROCESS MEAN ON TOLERANCE DESIGN USING SPC AND QUALITY LOSS FUNCTION MODEL

ABSTRAK

Desain toleransi sebagai salah satu karakteristik kualitas merupakan tahap yang kritis dalam desain proses dan produk. Sepesifikasi toleransi yang sempit akan meningkatkan biaya pabrikasi. Terjadinya penyimpangan ukuran diameter dari nilai nominalnilai target yang ditentukan menunjukkan adanya variasi proses dan produk. Oleh karena itu penentuan mean proses yang ekonomis sangat diperlukan untuk memilih nilai target manufaktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan peta kendali X bar dan R untuk diameter Shoulder clamp dan analisis kemampuan proses koefisien dan persamaan fungsi kerugian kualitas nilai mean proses analisis sensivitas dan batas spesifikasi untuk produk. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random pada 120 cetakan dengan jumlah Shoulder per cetakan sebanyak 5 pcs. Penentuan mean proses menggunakan model fungsi kerugian kualitas kuadrat simetris dan tidak simetris yang didahului dengan analisis kemampuan proses dari peta kendali variabel X bar dan R. Analisis sensivitas dilakukan pada variabel keputusan dari fungsi kerugian dan mendesain ulang toleransi produk berdasarkan toleransi standar dan toleransi pengecoran. Batas kontrol untuk peta kontrol x Bar adalah UCL 23.7417 x bar 23.3896 dan LCL 23.0374 sedangkan batas kontrol untuk peta kontrol R adalah UCL 1.291 R bar 0.610 dan LCL 0. Indeks kemampuan proses pengecoran adalah Cp 0.65. Dengan menghitung koefisien kerugian dan membuat persamaan ekspektasi kerugian kualitas maka diperoleh mean proses untuk fungsi kerugian kualitas simetris berkisar antara 23.45 mm 23.55 mm untuk EQLy1 dengan kerugian rata-rata per unit adalah Rp 28.980 Rp 27.930 dan 28.980 dan untuk EQLy5 dengan kerugian rata-rata per unit adalah Rp 86.94 Rp 83.79 dan Rp 86.94. Sedangkan untuk fungsi kerugian kualitas kuadrat tidak simetris mean proses berkisar antara 23.45 mm 23.60 mm untuk EQLy5 dengan kerugian rata-rata per unit adalah Rp 52.866 Rp 48.878 Rp 50.684 dan Rp 55.793 dan untuk EQLy6 dengan kerugian rata-rata per unit adalah Rp 62.26 Rp 55.86 Rp 57.90 dan Rp 63.39. Ada 6 alternatif toleransi diameter shoulder clamp hasil desain yaitu 23.50 0.80 mm 23.50 0.82 mm 23.50 1.20 mm 23.50 1.26 mm 23.50 1.70 mm dan 23.50 2.40 mm.


ABSTRACT

Tolerance design as one of quality characteristic is a critical phase in process and product design. Tight tolerance specifications lead to increase manufacturing costs. The diameter deviation scale from its determined nominal or target value shows existence of process and product variation. Therefore consequence determination of economic process mean hardly is needed to chooses target value of manufacture. This research objective is to get the x Bar and R control charts for Shoulder clamp diameter and process capability analysis coefficient and equation of quality loss function value of the process mean sensivity analysis and specification limit for product. Sampling is done in random by 120 molds with number of Shoulder per mold counted 5 pcs. Determination of economic process mean is done by using symmetrical quadratic quality loss function model and asymmetrical quadratic quality loss function model preceded with process capability analysis from variable control chart for X bar and R. Sensivity analysis done on decision variable from loss function and redesign product tolerance based on standard tolerance and casting tolerance. Control limits for x Bar control chart is UCL 23.7417 x bar 23.3896 and LCL 23.0374 while control limits for R control chart is UCL 1.291 R bar 0.610 and LCL 0. Process capability index is Cp 0.65. With calculating loss Coefficient and makes equation of quality loss function hence obtained process mean for symmectrical loss function of symmetrical is 23.45 mm to 23.55 mm for EQLy1 with average loss per unit is Rp 28.980 Rp 27.930 and 28.980 and for EQLy5 with average loss per unit is Rp 86.94 Rp 83.79 and Rp 86.94. while for asymmetric loss function process mean is 23.45 mm to 23.60 mm for EQLy5 with average loss per unit is Rp 52.866 Rp 48.878 Rp 50.684 and Rp 55.793 and for EQLy6 with average loss per unit is Rp 62.26 Rp 55.86 Rp 57.90 and Rp 63.39. There is six alternative of diameter tolerance shoulder clamp result of design it is 2350 080 mm 2350 082 mm 2350 120 mm 2350 126 mm 2350 170 mm and 2350 240 mm.
