ABSTRAK

Rugi-rugi daya reaktif pada jaring tenaga listrik dapat dikompensasi dengan keberadaan kapasitor. Dengan kapasitor besar tegangan pada saluran dapat terjaga dalam batas toleransi standar. Bila jaring tenaga listrik semakin luas maka permasalahan yang muncul adalah bagaimana cara pengaturan lokasi dan ukuran kapasitor yang tepat agar diperoleh rugi-rugi daya minimum. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan pemecahan solusi dengan melakukan optimisasi menggunakan sebuah algoritma Artificial Immune System AIS negative selection. Metode ini dikenal mampu secara efektif melakukan pende-teksian sistem secara akurat serta melalui set affinity pada formulasi algoritma yang tepat ternyata dapat memberikan solusi penyelesaian optimal. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan ternyata optimisasi menggunakan metode AIS negative selection mampu merekomendasikan pengurangan rugi-rugi daya sistem sebesar 885 MVA atau 581 dari total pembebanan dengan besar tegangan saluran pada kisaran 09927 pu sampai 10031 pu setelah terpasang kapasitor sebesar 120043 MVAr.


ABSTRACT

The existence of capacitor installed on power system could reduced reactive power looses moreover the lines voltage magnitude could stable around at level tolerance. However for large power system the problem is how to optimize its size and placing as if the system enables to send power by minimal looses. This paper presents an optimization method by using Artificial Immune System - Negative Selection Algorithm method AIS-NSA in order to achive their goals in sizing and placement of capacitor in the electrical system. This method has known capable for system detection effectively and determination of formulation algorithm correctly then finally will have optimal solution completely. Simulation results from the system AIS-NSA method is recommended for the reduction of power looses as 8.85 MVA or 5.81 from total load and voltage magnitude stable arround 0.9927 p.u. to 1.0031 p.u. after total 1200.43 MVAR of capacitor are installed.
