Description:

Bahasa adalah unsur yang sangat mendasar dalam perilaku manusia dan merupakan komponen penting dalam kehidupan. Manusia menggunakan bahasa untuk dapat saling berkomunikasi dan saling bertukar informasi. Bahasa yang digunakan manusia disebut dengan bahasa alami. Disamping bahasa alami terdapat beberapa model bahasa lain seperti bahasa formal (formal language) dan bahasa buatan (articial language). Bahasa fomal adalah dipergunakan untuk notasi matematika sedangkan bahasa buatan untuk kebutuhan khusus seperti bahasa pemrograman komputer. Bahasa di dalam bahasa alami dikenali berdasarkan daerah sebagai contoh Bahasa Indonesia di negara Indonesia. Dalam perkembangannya, komputer yang semula dijalankan dengan bahasa mesin mulai dapat berkomunikasi dengan manusia secara alami melalui pemrosesan bahasa alami. Dengan pemrosesan bahasa alami Interaksi manusia dengan komputer yang selama ini dengan masukkan berbasis menu dan berbasis kata kunci mempunyai alternatif lain melalui dialog bahasa alami. Dialog bahasa alami memiliki kelebihan karena dapat digunakan secara interaktif dalam berbagai bidang komunikasi manusia dengan sistem, terutama untuk pengguna yang kurang berpengalaman. Hal ini tidak bisa ditemukan pada sistem berbasis menu. Sehingga interksi dengan sistem melalui dialog bahasa alami akan lebih intuitif. Agen percakapan dalam dialog bahasa alami digunakan sebagai agen cerdas, yang mampu menanggapi masukan berupa kalimat dari pengguna. Dialog menjadi tidak alami umumnya karena konstruksi kalimat tanggapan dari agen yang kaku. Sinonim digunakan untuk memperkaya variasi kata sehingga tanggapan sistem menjadi lebih alami. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan metode untuk memperbanyak variasi tanggapan dari agen secara intuitif, terutama bagi pengguna yang kurang berpengalaman.

Language is a fundamental aspect in human behaviour and become an important component of life. Human is using language to comunicate each other and exchange information. Languange that is used by human is called natural language. Beside natural language there are other kind of languange such as formal languange and articial languange. Formal languange is used for mathematic notation, on the other hand articial languange is used for computer programming. Natural languanges are based on location, for example: Indonesian languange based on Indonesian teritory. Nowadays, computer that usually using machine languanges start to communicate with human using natural languange. With natural languange processing, interaction between human and computer that usually using menu and keyword will have another alternative. Another alternative is natural language. Natural language has many benet because it could be used in any communication between human and machine in interactive way. This will be useful for unexperienced user. This kind of interaction couldn't be found for menu based system. Interaction with system using natural language will be more intuitive. Conversation agent is used as intelligent agent in natural language dialogue that could respond any sentence from user. Dialogue become unnatural usually because of strict respond sentence from agent. Synonim is used to enrich the word variation so the system will respond better. This research will develop a method to enrich agent respond variation in an intuitive way, expecially for unexperienced user.
