ABSTRAK

Pada saat ini dan masa mendatang kendaraan roda empat memiliki kecenderungan untuk meniadakan sistem distributor distributorless pada sistem pengapiannya. Hal ini dikarenakan pada sistem pengapian konvensional memiliki banyak kelemahan diantaranya kerusakan pada platina keausan pada moving parts dan terjadi voltage drop. Dalam aplikasinya kendaraan roda empat umumnya menggunakan sistem waste spark distributorless dual ignition system. Sistem ini belum mampu secara tepat memenuhi timing ignition pada berbagai kecepatan untuk memperoleh proses pembakaran yang sempurna. Berdasarkan kelemahan sistem terebut maka dalam thesis ini dirancang sistem closed loop distributorless digital multipurpose yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembakaran. Untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja sistem distributor dan sistem CLDDM maka dilakukan pengujian dan kemudian dibandingkan antara distributor dan CLDDM. Dalam thesis ini dilakukan pengujian unjuk kerja sistem CLDDM yang ditunjukkan dengan tegangan dan arus baik primer maupun sekunder daya torsi Sfc kualitas emisi gas buang dan nilai lamda. Hasil pengujian tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dengan unjuk kerja sistem distributor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem CLDDM lebih unggul daripada sistem distributor tegangan dan arus baik primer maupun sekunder yang dihasikan mampu stabil pada putaran rendah maupun tinggi dimana nilainya sebesar 11.9 V dan 21.5 kV serta 1.9 A dan 4.8 A . Daya maksimum sebesar 31.37 hp torsi 10.73 N-m Sfc sebesar 0.321 kghp-jam dan konsentrasi CO dan HC pada sistem CLDDM turun sebesar 63.17 dan 7.35 . Nilai lamda pada sistem CLDDM mendekati range nilai lamda untuk proses stoikiometri yaitu antara 0.91 s.d 1.233.


ABSTRACT

On the current and future four-wheeled vehicles have a tendency to abolish the system of distributors distributorless ignition system. This is because the conventional ignition system has many drawbacks such as damage to the platinum wear and tear on moving parts and resulting voltage drop. In the application four-wheeled vehicles generally use the waste spark system distributorless dual ignition system. This system is not able to appropriately meet the ignition timing at various speeds to obtain a perfect combustion process. Based on the stretcher system weaknesses so in this paper designed a closed-loop distributorless digital multipurpose system are expected to increase the quality of combustion. To find distributors and system performance CLDDM system then do the examination and then compared between the distributors and CLDDM. In this study carried out performance testing indicated CLDDM system voltage and current with either primary or secondary power torque SFC the quality of emissions and lamda value. Test results are then compared with the distributor system performance. The test results show that the system is superior CLDDM distributor system voltage and current primary and secondary dihasikan able stable at low speed or high where the value of 9.11 V and 5.21 kV and 1.9 A and 8.4 A. Maximum power at 31.37 hp torque at 10.73 Nm SFC amounted to 0321 kg hp-hour and the concentration of CO and HC on CLDDM system decreased by 63.17 and 735. Lamda value at close range CLDDM system lamda value to the process stoichiometry of between 0.91 until 1.233.
