Kualitas dan kenyamanan udara dalam suatu ruangan tergantung beberapa faktor, diantaranya pola aliran distribusi udara, pola aliran distribusi temperatur ruangan, dan kelembaban udara. Untuk mendapatkan udara yang sehat diperlukan pengkondisian ventilasi ruangan tersebut dengan bantuan difuser, sehingga sirkulasi aliran udara dan temperatur ruangan yang telah dikondisikan menjadi lebih efektif dan terjaga. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibandingkan efektifitas dan efesiensi penggunaan difuser Air Conditioner (AC)berdasarkan letak.Dalam penelitian ini, model numerik distribusi temperatur dalam ruang ber-AC dengan mempertimbangkan hambatan dalam, kemudian dianalisa dengan pendekatan diskritisasi Finite Volume Method (FVM) dan teknik diskritisasi yang digunakan adalah Cental Diffrencing Scheme (CDS). Kemudian akan divisualisasikan dengan menggunakan software CFD fluent. Hasil simulasi dari penyelesaian numerik didapatkan bahwa difuser posisi ke-2 merupakan letak difuser yang paling efektif.

The quality and comfort of air in a room depends on several factors, including the distribution of air flow patterns, flow patterns of distribution of room temperature, and humidity. To get healthy air ventilation required conditioning room with the help of the diffuser, so that the circulation of air flow and temperature of the room that had been conditioned to be more effective and secure. This research will compare the effectiveness and efficiency of use of the diffuser Air Conditioned (AC) based on location.In this research, a numerical model of temperature distribution in air conditioned space with interior barrier will be analyzed by Finite Volume discretization Method (FVM) and the discretization techniques used are Cental Diffrencing Scheme (CDS). Then will be visualized using fluent CFD software. The simulation results of the numerical solution was found that the second position of the diffuser is the most effective.
