ABSTRAK

Pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia yang semakin meningkat menyebabkan bertambahnya bangunan tinggi khususnya kantor sewa. Bangunan tinggi menjadi sektor utama pemborosan energi terbesar saat ini. Potensi pemborosan energi pada bangunan tinggi di Indonesia khususnya Surabaya dipicu oleh iklim tropis lembab. Hal ini menyebabkan paparan panas matahari sepanjang tahun cukup besar pada fasade bangunan yang berpengaruh terhadap ruang didalamnya. Penghawaan dan pencahayaan menjadi faktor utama dalam pemborosan energi pada kantor sewa. Konsep green architecture memberikan upaya penghematan energi pada bangunan tinggi yang disertai dengan aspek lingkungan untuk memberikan rancangan yang komprehensif. Pendekatan metoda melakukan kajian deskriptif eksperimental yaitu dengan mengkoleksi data dari berbagai literatur kemudian dilanjutkan dengan landasan teori sebagai kesimpulan teori yang digunakan. Langkah berikutnya menerapkan metoda dari berbagai sumber untuk dielaborasi. Hasil utama studi menunjukkan dengan kriteria green architecture dapat memberikan tipe kantor sewa yang paling optimal adalah tipe ruang terbuka landscapeopen plan system dan tipe kantor shallow space. Beban termal dari tipe kantor sewa yang optimal menghasilkan beban energi yang lebih kecil dari bangunan sejenis di Surabaya.


ABSTRACT

Economic growth in Indonesia cause increasing high-rise buildings especially office rentals. Tall building into a major sector of todays biggest energy waste. Potential energy waste in high rise buildings in Indonesia especially Surabaya was triggered by a tropical humid climate. This led to exposure to the suns heat during the year is quite large on the building facade that affect the space therein. Air factors and lighting becomes a major factor in energy dissipation on the office lease. The concept of green architecture provides energy saving measures on high buildings along with environmental aspects to provide a comprehensive design. Method approach to descriptive experimental study is to collect data from a variety of literature then proceed with the theoretical basis for the conclusion that the theory used. The next step applying methods from various sources for elaboration. The results of the study indicate the criteria type of green architecture can provide the most optimal leasing office is the type of landscapeopen plan system and shallow type of office space. Thermal load of the optimal type of rental office generates less energy expenses than similar buildings in Surabaya.
