STUDY OF WATER SURFACE ELEVATION MARMOYO RIVER AFTER OPERATING SYPHON WATERWAY DIVERSION FLOOD CONTROL

ABSTRAK

Sungai Marmoyo yang berhulu di Kabupaten Jombang mengalir sepanjang 48 km dan bermuara di Kali Surabaya yang merupakan cabang dari Sungai Brantas. Kali Bancang Kali Kabuh dan Kali Kulak merupakan anak sungai Sungai Marmoyo. Wilayah sekitar pertemuan tiga anak sungai dengan Sungai Marmoyo merupakan daerah rawan banjir. Banjir terjadi setiap musim penghujan dengan tinggi genangan antara 50 cm 60 cm dimana daerah genangan banjir merupakan area persawahan produktif dan perkampungan. Untuk itu diperlukan langkah-langkah penanganan untuk mengatasi banjir yang salah satunya adalah dengan pemasangan syphon sudetan di beberapa titik pada ruas sungai yang sering terjadi banjir. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana profil aliran yang terjadi di sepanjang Sungai Marmoyo yang sering terjadi banjir pada kondisi aliran eksisting tanpa pemasangan syphon dan setelah pemasangan syphon sudetan. Analisa hidrologi dilakukan dengan bantuan program pemodelan HEC-HMS 3.5 dengan kala ulang 25 tahun untuk memperoleh hirograf banjir. Analisa hirolika dilakukan dengan bantuan program pemodelan HEC-RAS 4.1.0. untuk memperoleh profil aliran pada ruas Sungai marmoyo yang sering terjadi banjir. Simulasi dilakukan pada ruas Sungai Mrmoyo sepanjang 37 km pada kodisi eksisting dan pada kondisi setelah dipasang syphon sudetan dengan 06 m 08 m dan 10 m di beberapa titik. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan elevasi muka air banjir pada kondisi eksisting berada diatas elevasi permukaan sawah yang berkisar antara 033 m sd 209 m. Pada simulasi dengan pemasangan syphon sudetan terjadi penurunan elevasi muka air banjir yang bervariasi. Penurunan elevasi muka air banjir yang signifikan untuk menanggulangi banjir terjadi pada simulasi pemasangan 13 syphon sudetan dengan penurunan berkisar antara 224 m sd 300 m.


ABSTRACT

Marmoyo River disgorges in Jombang flows along 48 km and empties in Surabaya River which is a branch of the Brantas River. Bancang Kabuh and Kulak River are branches of the River Marmoyo. Areas around the three branches are flood-prone areas. Floods occur every rainy season with the high between 50 cm - 60 cm where the flood inundation areas are productive rice fields and villages. It is necessary for planning some ways to overcome floods one of them is the installation of waterway diversion siphon at some point on the river segment where the frequency of floods is high. This study is to examine how the flow profile occurs along the flooding area Marmoyo in the existing flow conditions without installing siphon and after the installation of siphon waterway diversion. Hydrological analysis was done by HEC-HMS 3.5 with over 25 years to acquire hydrograph flooding. Hydrological analysis conducted with HEC-RAS 4.1.0 to obtain the flow profile at the Marmoyo river segment where the frequency of floods is high. Simulations are performed in Marmoyo River along 3.7 km of existing condition and after installing the siphon waterway diversion with 0.6 m 0.8 m and 1.0 m at some points. The simulation results showed the elevation of flood level on existing conditions is around 0.33 m till 2.09 m. In the simulation with the installation of siphon waterway diversion the reduction of flood levels are varies. Flood levels reduce significantly to overcome the flood occurred in the simulation of the installation of 13 waterways siphon with reduction ranged from 2.24 m till 3.00 m.
