TRANSPORT SEDIMENT AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGE OF PORONG RIVER DUE TO SIDOARJO MUD VOLCANO DISCHARGE EAST JAVA.

ABSTRAK
Semburan Lumpur sidoarjo atau yang selanjutnya disebut Lusi pertama kali terjadi pada 29 Mei 2006 dan sudah terhitung 7 tahun sejak awal mula terjadinya luapan lusi belum berhenti. Sebagai tindak lanjut dalam penanggulangan ancaman meluasnya Peta Area Terdampak PAT maka diputuskan bahwa Lusi akan dibuang menuju laut melalui Kali Porong. Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh buangan Lusi terhadap transport sedimen dan perubahan morfologi Sungai Porong. Penelitian ini menggunakan software MIKE 21 dengan 2 buah modul yaitu modul Hidrodinamika dan modul Mud Transport. Adapun data-data yang digunakan adalah Data batimetri sungai porong debit sungai debit buangan Lusi konsentrasi sedimen dan data pasang surut. Simulasi dilakukan dengan 2 skenario yaitu pada musim hujan dan musim kemarau. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi Hidrodinamika diketahui Karakteristik aliran sungai bergerak dari kiri ke kanan dengan kecepatan arus rata-rata 0.5 ms pada musim hujan dan 0.3 ms pada musim kemarau. Sebaran dan besar konsentrasi suspended sedimen mengikuti arah dan besarnya aliran sungai. KP 255 adalah KP yang paling rentan terhadap pendangkalan.
ABSTRACT
It has been 7 years since the first mud volcano eruption at sidoarjo east java. Nobody know when this phenomenom will be stoped. As prevention to keep the impact areas mapping hence the mud volcanoe was flowed to porong river. And it has made the cotroversy between society especialy people who lived around the river. They were afraid about the sedimentation and the morphological change at porong river that can caused flood when rainy season come. This study will try to answer their anxious using MIKE 21 hydrodynamic module and Mud transport module. There are 2 scenario on simulation rainy and dry season. The result of hydrodynamic simulation shows that current speed average in rainy season is 05 ms and 03 ms for dry season. The spread of suspended sediment concentration is follow the the terms of current speed and direction. KP 255 is the most vulnerable due to sedimentation.
