RECALCULATING INSTALATION OF CIRCULATING WATER PUMP CWP AT COOLING WATER SYSTEM UNIT IV PLTU PT. PJB UNIT PEMBANGKITAN GRESIK

ABSTRAK

PLTU di PJB Unit Pembangkitan Gresik merupakan siklus Tertutup closed cycle. Uap yang melewati turbin akan dikondensasikan di Condensor oleh sistem air pendingin Cooling Water System untuk menjadi air kembali sehingga dapat dipompakan kembali. Air pendingin akan dipompakan oleh Circulating Water Pump CWP dengan fluida yang dilayani adalah air laut. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan melakuakn perhitungan ulang instalasi dan pemeliharaan pompa yang sesuai untuk pompa Circulating Water Pump CWP . Perhitungan Kapasitas Head Daya dan efisiensi dilakukan secara manual dan numerik menggunakan software Pipe Flow Expert 5.12.1 Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh kapasitas untuk memenuhi Condensor dan Sea Water Booster Pump sebesar 22860 dengan head efektif 8069 . dan daya motor sebesar 36654 kW. dengan kebutuhan tersebut maka dipilihlah pompa jenis Mixed Flow Pump dengan tipe Vertical Mixed Flow pump Kubota sudah tepat.


ABSTRACT

PLTU at Gresik Power Unit of PJB is close cycle the steam passes through the turbin will be condensation in condenser with cooling water system for to become returned water so water can be pump again. Cooling water will be pump by circulating water pump CWPserved with fluid is sea water. The object of this final project is to recalculate the installation and pump selection for circulating water pump. Capacity head power and efficiency are calculating by using manual method and numeric method using software pipe flow expert 5.12.1 The result of this recalculating the capacity for condensor and sea water booster pump is 22860 with head effektif is 8069 and and motor power is 36654 kW. By consider the plant needed so Mixed pump type vertical mixed pump KUBOTA is selected.
