DESIGN OF WEATHER AND DEFLECTION OBSERVER IN LONG BRIDGE

ABSTRAK

Sarana transportasi jembatan merupakan sektor penting penghubung 2 daerah sebagai pendukung aktivitas manusia sehari-hari. Sebagai prasarana penunjang tranportasi jembatan harus mendapatkan pemeriksaan yang baik. Dalam hal ini diperlukan pengamatan yang berguna sebagai parameter kondisi yang sedang terjadi di jembatan. Pengamatan yang dilakukan terfokus pada kondisi cuaca yaitu kecepatan angin arah angin suhu dan lendutan yang terjadi pada jembatan. Perancangan pengamat cuaca dan lendutan ini menggunakan photodioda dan LED infra merah dimana 2 komponen tersebut dikondisikan seperti fungsi rotary encoder sebagai sensor kecepatan sedangkan untuk sensor arah angin dikondisikan menggunakan kode grey. Sensor LM35 digunakan sebagai sensor suhu sedangkan speaker digunakan sebagai instrumen sensor lendutan dan AD620 ditambahkan untuk penguat instrumen tersebut. Data tiap sensor akan diolah oleh mikrokontroler Atmega16 dan dikirim melalui Wavecom1 Tx dan diterima oleh Wavecom2 Rx yang kemudian akan ditampilkan melalui Delphi. Dengan menggunakan Wavecom pengiriman data memungkinkan melalui SMS Gateway sehingga dapat dilakukan pengamat kondisi jembatan dari jarak jauh. Data yang didapatkan dari masing masing sensor dapat ditampilkan pada Delphi. Penggunaan database untuk menyimpan data sangat disarankan untuk kedepannya karena dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan sistem monitoring.


ABSTRACT

The bridge transportation is an important sector as a link between two region which is supportfull human daily activities. As a support bridge should get well maintenance. In this case a helpful observe as a parameter for the real condition in the bridge is needed. The observe concerning to the weather changing which are wind velocity wind direction air temperature and deflection occured in the bridge. The design of weather and deflection observer is using photodioda and LED infrared which the two components are formed as rotary encoder for the wind velocity sensor and formed using grey code for the wind direction sensor. LM35 sensor used as the air temperature sensor while a speaker formed as instrumen for deflection sensor with an amplifier AD620 added. Each data from the sensor proceed by mikrokontroller Atmega16 and sent using Wavecom1 Tx then received by Wavecom2 Rx. At the end the data would appear in Delphi. The way we using Wavecom for sending data the applicability SMS Gateway is possible so that we might having a long distance bridge observation. All data from each sensor are able to show in Delphi. Using a database for data storage is highly recomended in order to be monitoring system references.
