ABSTRAK

Upaya pemerintah untuk menjaga garis batas wilayah darat Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia masih sangat kurang. Dalam tugas akhir ini bersama dengan grup tugas akhir yang lain kami merancang sistem pemantau posisi patok menggunakan Radio Data Terpusat dan GPS. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah energi yang diperlukan untuk peralatan pemantau tidak cocok menggunakan listrik dari PLN karena peralatan yang terletak jauh dari pemukiman. Sel surya dipilih karena mampu menghasilkan energi listrik yang dapat disimpan pada baterai serta ditransmisikan langsung pada peralatan patok. Sistem Energi Mandiri ini menggunakan solar regulator yang digunakan sebagai penentu kondisi baterai pada peralatan beban. Alat ini berfungsi sebagai pengatur tegangan dari sel surya dan disimpan pada baterai. Sensor optocoupler dihubungkan dengan mikrokontroler untuk memonitoring status baterai normal low atau charging pada solar regulator. Kemudian kondisi tersebut diolah oleh mikrokontroler untuk dikirimkan melalui Radio Data agar dapat di monitoring melalui komputer. Berdasarkan pengujian kondisi baterai diperoleh kondisi baterai low sebesar 11.7 V dan baterai high sebesar 12.7 V. Tegangan tersebut digunakan untuk indikasi monitoring status pada baterai. Adapun perhitungan kebutuhan beban pada alat patok perbatasan dengan menggunakan sel surya sebesar 20 Wp dan kapasitas baterai sebesar 18 Ah.


ABSTRACT

The governments efforts to keep the land boundary line of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia is still lacking. In this thesis along with another group final project we design a monitoring system using the pole position Centralized Data Radio and GPS. The challenge remains energy necessary monitoring equipment is not suitable for use of electricity because the equipment is located away from the settlements. Solar cells chosen because it can produce electrical energy that can be stored in a battery and transmitted directly to the equipment stakes. The Independent Energy Systems using solar regulator which is used as a determinant of battery condition on the load equipment. This tool serves as a voltage regulator from the solar cell and stored in the battery. Optocoupler sensor connected to the microcontroller to monitor the battery status of normal low or charging on solar regulator. Then the condition is processed by the microcontroller to be sent via the Radio Data should be on monitoring via a computer. Based on testing of battery condition obtained a low battery condition by 11.7 V and 12.7 V. The high battery voltage indication is used for monitoring the status of the battery. The calculation of load demand on the border stakes tool using a 20 Wp solar cell and a battery capacity of 18 Ah.
