ABSTRAK

Rancang bangun alat ukur kecepatan putar turbin dengan tujuan yaitu monitoring kecepatan putar turbin pada archimedean screw generator agar dapat diketahui kecepatan putar turbin ketika menghasilkan listrik dengan tegangan maksimum yang nantinya akan didistribusikan ke rumahrumah. Alat ukur kecepatan turbin ini menggunakan sensor optocoupler yang berfungsi mendeteksi putaran dari turbin yang berbentuk screw dengan nilai putaran turbin terukur sebesar 364 rpm pada level tangki atas 75 cm dan menghasilkan tegangan dc sebesar 7 volt dari generator berupa motor DC 12 volt. Range kecepatan turbin terukur mulai 40 rpm hingga putaran maksimum 370 rpm. Menggunakan microcontroller yang berfungsi mengolah output dari optocoupler yang berupa tegangan untuk diolah menjadi data biner digital yang nantinya dapat ditampilkan di LCD berupa digit-digit angka. Untuk menampilkan data putaran turbin menggunakan LCD.


ABSTRACT

Design turbine rotational speed measuring devices with the aim of monitoring the rotational speed of the turbine generator archimedean screw in order to know when the rotational speed of the turbine generating electricity with a maximum voltage which will be distributed to homes. The turbine speed measuring devices use optocoupler sensor that functions to detect rotation of the screw-shaped turbine the turbine rotation values measured at 364 rpm at 75 cm above the tank level and produce a dc voltage of 7 volts from the generator a 12 volt DC motor. Measured turbine speed range from 40 rpm to 370 rpm maximum spin. Using a microcontroller that functions to process the output of the optocoupler the voltage to be processed into digital binary data that will be displayed on the LCD in the form of digit-digit numbers. Turbine wheel to display data using the LCD.
