DESIGN OF DC DC BUCK BOOST CONVERTER ON SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM MINI PLANT BASED ON ARDUINO

ABSTRAK
Photovoltaic PV merupakan sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga
surya yang paling banyak dikembangkan. Peningkatan kinerja PV bisa
dilakukan melalui metode solar tracking system untuk mendapatkan
output maksimum dengan mengikuti pergerakan matahari.
Ketidakstabilan output PV menyebabkan timbulnya masalah pada
pemanfaatan daya PV untuk beban. Hal ini disebabkan karena
perubahan intensitas matahari yang tidak menentu. Oleh karena itu
dibutuhkan sebuah sistem penstabil daya output PV atau yang lebih
dikenal dengan dc dc buck boost converter. Sistem ini terdiri dari
voltage devider rangkaian totempole mikrokontroller dan rangkaian
buck boost converter. Pengujian sistem dc dc buck boost converter di
lakukan untuk melakukan pengisian accu dengan menggunakan sumber
listrik dari photovoltaic. Sumber listrik yang digunakan ada 2 yaitu
fixed dan solar tracker. Hasil eksperimen menunjukan bahwa sistem
yang dibuat dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pengisian storage system
accu dengan kapasitas tegangan untuk fixed dan tracker masing
masing 117 volt dengan durasi pengisian 8 jam dan 122 volt dengan
durasi 5 jam.
ABSTRACT
Photovoltaic PV is a solar power generating system stations
the most developed in this time. Improving performance of PV can be
done through a method using solar tracking system to obtain maximum
output with solar tracking. Instability output pv cause the trouble for
power pv using to load. It is caused by the changes of intensity of sun
erratic. Because of that required a system stabilizer pv output power or
which is recognized with dc - dc buck boost converter. This system
consists of voltage divider a series of totempole microcontroller and
buck boost converter sequence. Dc - dc buck boost converter system
tested used to charging using photovoltaic source of electricity. There
are two power source used by they are fixed and solar tracker.
Experimental results show that the created system can be used for
charging storage system accumulator with a capacity of voltage for a
fixed and tracker each 117 volts with charging duration 8 hours and
122 volts with a charging duration of 5 hours.
