ABSTRAK

Angin memiliki peranan penting untuk menentukan keadaan cuaca dan iklim. Untuk mengetahui besar kecepatan angin yang akurat diperlukan suatu alat ukur yang dapat mencatat kecepatan angin secara akurat. Oleh karena itu pada tugas akhir telah dirancang sistem pengukur kecepatan angin untuk mengetahui karakteristik alat ukur dan memonitoring kecepatan angin. Sistem monitoring ini menggunakan alat ukur kecepatan angin dengan optocoupler sebagai sensor Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pemrosesan sinyal. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan alat ukur kecepatan angin yang telah dibuat dengan alat ukur kecepatan angin yang sudah standar. Dari hasil pengujian pada alat ukur diketahui alat ukur mempunyai ketidakpastian UA1 sebesar 03964. Nilai ketidakpastian UA2 sebesar 00496 UB1 sebesar 0002887 ketidakpastian diperluas U expand sebesar 10272 dan error rata-rata 303. Karakteristik statis alat ukur kecepatan angin ini antara lain range 005 ms 708 ms span 703 ms resolusi 001 akurasi 991860 sensitivitas 00494 dan linieritas 14202. Karakteristik dinamis alat ukur ini mempunyai time constant 189 s. Untuk monitoring menggunakan Visual Studio Net 2008 dan MySQL sebagai penyimpanan data kecepatan selama dilakukan monitoring. Hasil monitoring hari pertama mempunyai kecepatan angin tertinggi sebesar 134 ms dan terendah 042 ms. Pada hari ke dua mempunyai kecepatan angin tertinggi sebesar 151 ms dan terendah 024 ms.


ABSTRACT

Wind has influence for certain weather and climate. To knowing the accurate wind speed need accurate measuring instrument too. Because of this reason the final project aims to design a system for measuring the wind speed to determine the characteristics of the measuring instrument and monitor the speed of the wind. This monitoring system using wind speed measuring instrument with optocoupler as sensors Arduino Mega 2560 as signal processing. Calibration wind speed measurement tool with comparingthe tool and the standar wind speed measurement tool. The results of calibration has known uncertainty UA1 amounted to 03964. The value of the uncertainty of UA2 is 00496 UB1 is 0002887 the expanded uncertainty U exp is 10272 and average of error 303 . Static characteristics of wind speed measurement tool include range 005 ms708 ms span 703 ms resolution is 001 accuracy value is 991860 sensitivitas 00494 and linieritas 14202. Dynamic characteristic measuring instrument has a time constant of 189 s. Monitoring using Visual Studio 2008 Net and MySQL as data storage for speed monitoring is done. Results of monitoring the first day has high wind speeds 1.34 ms and low 0.42 ms. At second day has high wind speeds 151 ms and low of 024 ms.
