ABSTRAK

Timbangan merupakan suatu alat yang banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada saat ini banyak timbangan dengan akurasi tinggi yang memiliki beban muatan tidak terlalu besar yakni maksimum 50kg. Telah dilakukan rancang bangun suatu timbangan digital portable dengan kemampuan menahan beban maksimum 135kg dan kemampuan bacaan mulai dari 5kg. Sensor berat yang digunakan dalam timbangan digital portable ini adalah sensor load cell single point. Sensor mendapat input berupa beban kemudian dikonversikan menjadi tegangan oleh strain gauge yang berada di dalam load cell. Keluaran dari load cell dikirim menuju amplifier untuk dikuatkan tegangannya agar dapat diproses oleh mikrokontroler Arduino. Di dalam mikrokontroler data tersebut diolah dan diproses sehingga mendapatkan berat yang sesuai dengan beban yang diterima oleh timbangan kemudian ditampilkan ke layar LCD. Pengujian yang dilakukan pada sensor load cell menunjukkan bahwa sensor load cell yang digunakan memiliki nilai akurasi sebesar 98 dan nilai presisi sebesar 991. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa akurasi dan presisi sensor telah sesuai dengan standar.


ABSTRACT

Scales is a tool that is widely used in daily life. At this time many scales with high accuracy which has no payload is too large the maximum 50kg. Has done design a portable digital scale with 135kg maximum load bearing capabilities and reading abilities ranging from 5kg. Weight sensors used in portable digital scales are the single point load cell sensors. Got a load sensor input is then converted into a voltage by a strain gauge load cell located inside. The output of the load cell is sent to the amplifier to amplified voltage to be processed by the Arduino microcontroller. In the microcontroller the data is processed and processed so that the weight gain that corresponds to the load received by the scales then displayed to the LCD screen. Tests were performed on the load cell sensor indicates that the sensor load cell used had an accuracy score of 98 and a precision value of 99.1. This suggests that the accuracy and precision sensor complies with the standards.
