Description:

Turbin cross-flow, merupakan turbin impuls dengan media air sebagai f1uida kerja. Dalam tugas akhir ini dibandingkan antara daya turbin teoritis ( daya input turbin ) dengan daya output turbin, dimana daya output turbin merupakan daya yang digunakan untuk memutar generator. Data instalasi turbin diambil dalam keadaan daya output turbin maxsimal yaitu dengan keluaran daya pada generator sebesar 25 kW. Dari data yang diambil kemudian dilakukan perhitungan, diperoleh daya turbin teoritis sebesar 51,49 kW, daya output turbin 29,32 kW jadi effisiensi turbin sebesar 57% .

Cross - flow turbine is impuls turbine which is using water medium as working fluida. In this last assignment ,the teoritcal turbine power (input power of turbine) is compared with the output power of turbine, where the output power of turbin which is use to rotate the generator. The data of instalation turbine was taken when the turbine power is maximal that is when the output power of generator is 25 kW. The calculation of the data obtained the teoritical turbine power is the of 51,49 kW, output power is 29,32 kW, and the efficiency is in the amount of 57% .
