ABSTRAK

Proses penggunaan tempat parkir pada tempat yang memiliki parkir mobil bertingkat masih menggunakan sistem pada umumnya. Kendaraan yang masuk dicatat nomer kendaraan pengendara membayar dan memperoleh karcis masuk parkir dan pengendara harus mencari sendiri tempat parkir yang dapat dipergunakan. Pengendara tidak dapat mengetahui secara langsung tempat parkir mana saja yang masih kosong ataupun yang telah digunakan sebelum memasuki areal parkir. Sistem seperti ini kurang efisien bagi pengendara karena membutuhkan waktu yang cukup banyak untuk menemukan tempat parkir yang dapat digunakan. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut maka dibuat rangkaian pendeteksi tempat parkir yang terdiri dari mikrokontroler ATmega8535 power supply 5Volt dan 6Volt sensor cahaya yang berupa super bright dan photodiode rangkaian encoder display seven segment dan rangkaian komunikasi serial. Rangkaian ini akan melakukan deteksi di tiap-tiap tempat parkir dengan menggunakan sensor cahaya yang kemudian diproses oleh mikrokontroler ATmega8535 dan hasil pendeteksian ditampilkan pada seven segment dan komputer. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini yaitu mendeteksi ada atau tidaknya mobil pada sensor yang diletakkan pada tiap-tiap tempat parkir. Hasil pendeteksian tersebut ditampilkan pada seven segment sehingga dapat dilihat secara langsung oleh para pengguna tempat parkir sebelum memasuki areal parkir dan operator dapat melakukan pengawasan melalui komputer.


ABSTRACT

Parking system in highrise parking area still use conventional parking system cars enter the parking area and its license plate will be recorded drivers pay and get parking ticket then the drivers must find their parking area themself. This system is inefficient because it require quite a lot of time to find the empty ones. Our proposed parking system will reduce inefficient time to find an empty parking area based on detection result finally drivers can find their parking area easily. Parking area detector circuit consist of microcontroller ATmega8525 power supply5 Volt and 6Volt light sensor consist of super bright and photo diode encoder circuit sevensegment display and a series of serial communication. Light sensor and seven-segment are used as input and output of microcontroller correspondingly. Microcontroller itself is used as system controller. A series of serial communication can be monitoring by computer. This final project will detect empty space in parking area. The result will be displayed on seven segment so the drivers know the empty space in parking area based on that.
