ABSTRAK

Kebutuhan energi listrik yang meningkat dan harga energi listrik mahal menyebabkan pembayaran energi listrik besar. Maka perlu diupayakan untuk mencari sumber energi listrik alternatif. Proyek Akhir ini memanfaatkan solar cell sebagai sumber energi alternatif dari alat penyiram taman. Solar cell digunakan sebagai sumber untuk mengisi baterai 12 Volt12Ah. Tegangan keluaran baterai 12 Vdc dihubungkan dengan Single Phase Full Bridge Inverter untuk diubah menjadi 12 Volt ac dengan frekuensi 50 Hz. Single Phase Full Bridge Inverter bekerja dengan penyulutan PWM yang dibangkitkan oleh mikrokontroller ATMega 16. Tegangan keluaran Single Phase Full Bridge Inverter dihubungkan dengan transformator untuk dinaikkan tegangannya menjadi 200 Volt ac. Tegangan keluaran transformator pada Proyek Akhir ini digunakan sebagai sumber motor pompa air dengan daya 50 Watt. Pompa air digunakan untuk menyiram taman setiap pagi pukul 07.00 WIB dan sore pukul 16.00 WIB dengan jangka waktu 2 menit. Pengaktifan pompa air berdasarkan waktu melalui data yang diambil dari real-time clock RTC. Dengan pembuatan alat penyiram taman yang menggunakan matahari sebagai sumber alternatif dapat mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik dari PLN dan ramah lingkungan.


ABSTRACT

The increasing of cost and electrical energy necessary caused the payment of electricity higher. So needed to looking for the alternative energy sources. In this final project utilizing solar cell as an alternative energy for garden sprinkler. Solar cell used as a source to charge the battery 12 Volt12Ah. The output voltage associated with Single Phase Full Bridge inverter to turn into 12 Vp ac with frequency of 50 Hz. Single Phase Full Bridge inverter working with PWM switching which generated from mikrokontroller ATMega 16. Single Phase Full Bridge inverter is connected to transformer to increased the output voltage till 200 Vp ac. The output voltage from transformator is used as source for the water pump motor 50 Watt. Water pump used to watering the garden every morning at 07.00 WIB and the afternoon at 16.00 WIB with a range of time 2 minutes. The activated of water pump based on the time through the data who taken from real-time clock RTC. By creating a garden sprinkler uses the sun as an alternative energy source can reduce use of electricity and environmentally friendly.
