ABSTRAK

Indonesia merupakan Negara kepulauan sepanjang pulaupulau dipisahkan palung-palung besar dan kecil yang suatu saat bisa runtuh dan menimbulkan gempa. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu alat pengukur getaran gempa bumi yang efektif dan efisien. Pada tugas akhir ini dibahas mengenai perencanaan dan pembuatan sistem yang dapat mengukur getaran gempa bumi dengan komunikasi jarak jauh menggunakan teknologi bluetooth. Sistem ini terdiri dari rangkaian seismometer dan PC receiver. Rangkaian seismometer terdiri dari power supply sensor LVDT signal conditioning mikrokontroler MCS-51 dan modul EB500 Embedded Buetooth 500. Seismometer ini mampu melakukan proses pengambilan data dari sensor mengukur besar getaran dan mentransmisikan data hasil pengukuran secara wireless. PC receiver terdiri dari komputer dan USB bluetooth dongle sebagai penerima data hasil pengukuran gempa bumi dan menampilkannya pada display komputer dengan software Labview. Dari hasil pengujian sistem secara keseluruhan dapat diketahui bahwa sensor mampu mendeteksi simpangan getaran maksimum 17mm. Untuk hasil pengujian pengiriman data dari sensor ke PC didapatkan data bahwa pada jarak 60m pengiriman sebesar 30 Bytesdetik sedangkan pada jarak 50m sebesar 240 Bytesdetik.


ABSTRACT

Indonesia is archipelago country each island has small and big trough it could be earthquake vibration when the trough is fall out. Therefore it is needed an effective and efficient application to meausere an earthquake vibration. This final project present a design and realization of system which can measure an earthquake vibration remotely using Bluetooth technology. The system consists of seismometer and PC receiver. The seismometer consists of a power supply LVDT sensor signal conditioning microcontroller MCS51 and EB500 module Embedded Bluetooth 500. The seismometer receives data from sensor it can measure the value of vibration and transmit the data to PC. The data is processed as earthquake vibration value in Richter scale. The result shows that sensor can detect maximum amplitude vibration of 17 mm. Maximum distance of transmittal data using Bluetooth is 60 m with bit rate 30 Bytessecond and 50 m with bit rate 240 Bytessecond.
