ABSTRAK

Pada studi ini dibuat sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis SIG tentang bencana Lumpur yang berlokasi di Sidoarjo yang berbasis WAP. Sistem ini memberikan informasi tentang dampak bencana Lumpur Sidoarjo terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti industri pendidikan kesehatan dan kehidupan sosial lainnya. Data satelit dan dokumen-dokumen yang diekstraksi dari berbagai sumber diolah dengan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis SIG sehingga didapatkan informasi yang diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam mengambil kebijaksanaan pada saat terjadi dan pasca bencana luapan lumpur. Dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis SIG akan lebih mudah untuk menganalisa data tentang bencana Lumpur Sidoarjo meliputi data peta dampak data jalur transportasi dan data peringatan dini. Karena dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Geografis SIG maka akan digambarkan juga posisi penyebaran data pada kondisi sesungguhnya. Tahapan proses yang dilakukan adalah pre-processing konversi data dan query database. Karena sistem informasi ini berbasis WAP maka digunakan teknologi yang sesuai yaitu Apache sebagai web server wml dan php sebagai pembangun sistem dan MySQL sebagai database.


ABSTRACT

This final project due to build a geographic information system about mud flow disaster which is occured in Sidoarjo based on WAP. This systems perform an information that represent the effect of Sidoarjo Mud Flow Disaster on various aspects of life such as industry education healthy and other social life. Satellite data and all documents which is extracted from many kind of resources then processed with Geography Information System8223s approach GIS8223s approach until it produces information to be considered in taking a policy to overcome post-mud overflow. Using Geography Information System GIS will make easier to analyze the existing data like impact area data transportation band data and early warning system. GIS also helps in showing the spreading data position in the real world. Sequence stage of process which is took are pre-processing data conversion and database querying. Since this application run on WAP the suitable technology are Apache as web server wml and php as the builder system and MySQL as database
