ABSTRAK

Di industri filter rokok terdapat proses penyemprotan Triacetin pada Tow bahan baku filter rokok pada proses penyemprotan ini digunakan sistem penyemprotan menggunakan brush. Namun ada kendala yang ditimbulkan dalam sistem yang menggunakan brush yaitu hasil penyemprotan kurang rata sehingga banyak Tow yang terbuang karena tidak mengandung Triacetin. Pada sistem yang digunakan saat ini motor digunakan untuk menggerakan brush yang menghasilkan percikan Triacetin. Dalam proyek akhir ini dirancang salah satu sistem untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi filter rokok yaitu dengan teknik penyemprotan yang menggunakan spray. Sistem yang dirancang adalah sistem penyemprotan yang menggunakan spray. Untuk menghasilkan semprotan yang merata pada sistem ini menggunakan sebuah spray yang terletak sejajar dengan konveyor yang menjepit tow. Untuk hasil yang maksimal pada sistem ini juga memanfaatkan penyemprotan secara pengkabutan. Dengan pembuatan sistem penyemprotan seperti ini akselerasi motor konveyor dan bagian penyemprotan dicapai dalam jangka waktu 4 detik lebih cepat dari sistem brush yang memerlukan waktu 10 detik. Dengan demikian pembuangan Tow karena kegagalan penyemprotan pada saat start dapat dikurangi.


ABSTRACT

In cigarettes filter industry there are process of spraying triacetin at Tow raw material of cigarettes filter at this spraying process used by a spraying system using brush. But there are constraint generated in system using brush that is result of spraying which less flatten so that a lot of Tow which terrace because not contain the triacetin. At now cigarettes filter industry used a motor for rotate the brush and generate the Triacetins sprinkling. In this final project will designed by one of system to increase efficiency produce the filters cigarette that is spraying technique using spray. System designed is spraying system using spray. To produce the spraying which flatten at this system will use a parallel located spray by konveyor nipping tow. For the result of maximal at this system is also enhanced by a fogging spray. With the making of spraying system like this acceleration of motors konveyor and spraying part was synchronization within 4 second its faster then spraying system using brush who need time during 10 second so dismissal of Tow caused failure spraying on strarting procces can reduced.
