DESIGN AND BUILD DC DC CONVERTER FOR DC VOLTAGE SOURCHE IMPRESSED CURRENTS CATHODIC PROTECTION HARDWARE

ABSTRAK

Korosi atau karat merupakan peristiwa penurunan mutu suatu material pada bahan logam akibat hubungan yang tidak menguntungkan dengan lingkungan. Korosi tidak dapat dihindari atau dihilangkan namun dapat dikendalikan dengan melakukan sistem proteksi katodik arus tanding impressed currents cathodic protection yaitu mengalirkan arus listrik searah DC ke dalam struktur yang akan dilindungi. Pemberian arus listrik searah pada struktur yang akan dilindungi memerlukan pengaturan yang tepat dan akurat agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan arus proteksi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah pengaturan tegangan searah DC yang teregulasi. Tujuan Tugas akhir ini adalah merancang sistem penyedia daya power supply mode penyaklaran dengan pengendalian saklar daya mikrokontroler. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa desain sistem bekerja dengan baik jika progam dibuat seefisien mungkin. Dengan adanya pengendali saklar daya oleh mikrokontroler maka akan didapat tegangan yang teregulasi agar arus proteksi yang dibutuhkan cepat terpenuhi dengan arus proteksi maksimal sebesar 3A dengan tegangan keluaran maksimal dari Buck Converter sebesar 50V.


ABSTRACT

Corrosion or rust is quality depreciation event a materials in consequence metal ingredient conection doesnt beneficial with environment. Corrosion cant avoid or lossed but can be controlled by making impreseed current cathodic protection ICCP. DC current gift in structure that be protected to need correct arrangement and accurate so that as according to protection current needed. therefore need DC voltage regulation. The purpose of this final project is to design power supply system to controlled by microcontroller. Result of experiment showed system work better with eficient progam. With power electric switch controller existence by microcontroller so would be got regulation voltage so that protection current that wanted fast fulfilled. Maximal Currents protection is 3 Ampere with DC voltage 50 Volt.
