ABSTRAK

Pembangunan sarana transportasi melalui program Pavingisasi oleh Pemerintah sedang berjalan sampai pelosok desa. Tentunya diperlukan efisiensi dan inovasi dari bahan-bahan material yang digunakan. Kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa fly ash telah di produksi dalam bentuk lebih efisien dan ekonomis salah satunya yaitu pulverized fly ash yang di produksi oleh PT. Novita. Ada pula pasir Lumajang yang berasal dari campuran muntahan gunung semeru yang untuk satu lokasi seluas sekitar 60 hektar sedalam 8 meter mengandung pasir besi sekitar 6 juta ton yang bisa dieksplorasi selama 5 sampai 10 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan komposisi optimal paving block dari campuran pulverized fly ash dan pasir Lumajang yang kuat tekan penyerapan air dan ketahanan aus mencapai mutu yang direncanakan yaitu K300 atau paling tidak sesuai dengan SNI 03-0691-1996. Pengujiannya dilakukan pada tiga komposisi dengan faktor air semen 04 dengan masing-masing dari komposisi tersebut yaitu 1PC 1FA 1PS 2BP 1PC 15FA 175PS 325BP dan 1PC 1FA 2PS 3BP. Kemudian untuk pengujian kuat tekan pada umur 71428 dan 60 hari pengujian penyerapan air dan ketahanan aus dilakukan pada umur 28 dan 60 hari. Kuat tekan optimal pada komposisi 1 1PC1FA1PS2BP mempunyai kuat tekan sebesar 44083 kgcm2 termasuk dalam klasifikasi paving block mutu A yang dapat digunakan untuk jalan pengujian penyerapan air sebesar 4449 dan pengujian ketahanan aus sebesar 00658mmmenit juga termasuk dalam klasifikasi mutu A yang tercantum dalam SNI 03-0691-1996.


ABSTRACT

Construction of transportation facilities through the paving program by the government is running up to remote villages. Of course efficiency and innovation required from the raw materials used. Conditions in the field showed that fly ash has been in production in the form of more efficient and economical one that is pulverized fly ash that is produced by PT. Novita. There are also lumajangs sand derived from a mixture of vomit the Semeru mountain to one location covering approximately 60 hectares deep in 8 meter sands contain about 6 million tons of iron that can be explored for 5 until 10 years. The purpose of this study to obtain the optimal composition of a mixture of paving blocks pulverized fly ash and lumajangs sand the compressive strength water absorption and resistance to wear and achieve the planned quality of K300 or at least according to the SNI 03-0691-1996. The test performed on three compositions by a factor of 04 with cement water from the composition of each of those problems 1PC 1FA 1PS 2BP 1PC 15FA 175PS 325BP and 1PC 1FA 2PS 3BP. Then for testing the compressive strength at the age of 7 14 28 and 60 days testing the water absorption and wear resistance carried out at the age of 28 and 60 days. Optimum compressive trength on the in composition of 1 1PC 1FA 1PS 2BP has a compressive strength of 44083 kgcm2 include in the classification of quality A paving block which can be used for roads water absorption test of 4449 and the test of wear resistance at 00658mmminutes also included in the classification of quality A is contained in the SNI 03-0691-1996.
