ABSTRAK

Pengeringan gabah padi merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting dalam menjaga kualitas suatu gabah. Untuk proses pengeringan gabah biasanya digunakan pengeringan secara alami dengan bantuan sinar matahari. Dengan adanya prototipe sistem pengering gabah diharapkan proses pengeringan tidak akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Pada prototipe pengering gabah padi ini lama pengoperasian ditentukan dua mode yaitu standar dan kerja lapangan. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuat prototipe sistem pengering gabah padi dalam lumbung menggunakan peralatan listrik dan kontrol elektronika. Dengan alat ini kadar air yang akan didapat sebesar 14 dan suhu dalam prototipe selalu dimonitor melalui LCD. Sebagai pemanas digunakan elemen pemanas dan kondisi suhu dibaca sensor suhu LM35. Untuk monitoring dan pemilihan menu dilakukan melalui LCD dan tombol. Hasil dari sistem ini adalah pengaturan suhu berdasar mode yang ada pada prototipe ini dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan bahwa pada pengeringan gabah padi ini tegangan pemanas diatur oleh triac. Pemerataan suhu pada ruang pengering diatur oleh motor dan exhaust fan.


ABSTRACT

Drying of paddy rice is one of the most important part in maintaining the quality of a grain. For grain drying process usually used in drying naturally with the help of sunlight. With the prototype system of grain dryer the drying process would not be expected to take a long time. In this prototype paddy grain dryer old two modes of operation specified standards and field work. In this final prototype of paddy grain dryer system in barn using electrical equipment and electronic controls. With this tool which will give the water content of 14 and temperatures in the prototype are always monitored via the LCD. Used as a heating element and the heater temperature is read LM35 temperature sensor. For monitoring and selection is done through the LCD menus and buttons. The results of this system is based on the temperature setting on the mode of this prototype the test results that have been conducted found that in these rice grain drying heater voltage is set by triac. Equality of temperature on the drying chamber is governed by the motor and exhaust fan.
