Perancangan alat peraga HRSG berbasis computer ini menggunakan satu system pengoperasian HRSG yaitu pada saat HRSG dioperasikan dengan siklus kombinasi antara siklus Brayton pada turbin gas dan siklus Rankine pada unit boiler dan turbin uap. Dengan dimensi Alat peraga panjang 600 mm dan lebar 400 mm dan tinggi 1450 mm memungkinkan alat Display Number dapat terpasang dan bisa menunjukkan parameter proses yang terjadi di dalam unit HRSG secara memadai. Dengan kelebihan karena berbasis komputer maka pengguna hanya membutuhkan waktu yang relatif cepat untuk pengoperasiannya yaitu 10-15 menit. Kesimpulan dari pengujian alat peraga HRSG ini yaitu alat peraga ini mampu beroperasi dengan baik. Dengan program komputer gabungan dari program RS 232 dan Visual Basic 6 pengoperasian alat peraga ini masih belum sepenuhnya otomatis karena sebagian perhitungan masih menggunakan program lain dan dilakukan inputan secara manual oleh pengguna untuk mendapatkan nilai enthalpi. Untuk memberikan proses perbaikan yg berkelanjutan ke depan sebaiknya dilakukan penyempurnaan program Software komputer sehingga semua data hanya diolah oleh satu program Software sehingga lebih menyederhanakan proses pengoperasiannya.

The designing of HRSG teaching aid which based on computer programming uses a combined cycle HRSG operating system; Brayton cycle in gas turbine and Rankine cycle in boiler and steam turbine units. With the dimension of HRSG teaching aid of 600 mm length, 400 mm width and 1450 mm height make it able to be connected with a display number part and showing all process parameter at HRSG sufficiently. With the advantage of computer programming base makes user need relative short time for its operational time around 10-15 minutes. The conclusion of HRSG teaching Aid Tests is that this HRSG Teaching Aid able to be operated well, however some parameter data must be inputted manually. With combination of two computer programming; RS 232 and Visual Basic 6 this HRSG teaching aid is not able to make all automatic calculation. User must use other computer programming such as CATT program for getting enthalpy value and input it into RS 232 and Visual Basic 6 computer programming. For the next improvement can be done by combined all computer programming become single computer programming, so all data can be processed simply at single computer programming.
