ABSTRAK

Seiring mobilitas manusia yang sangat padat maka berkembang pula sarana informasi. Dengan berkembangnya sarana informasi ini maka semua orang dituntut memiliki informasi data waktu yang akurat. Saat ini Global Positioning System GPS sudah banyak digunakan orang di seluruh dunia dalam berbagai bidang aplikasi yang menuntut informasi tentang posisi kecepatan percepatan ataupun waktu yang teliti. Sistem ini didesain untuk memberikan posisi dan kecepatan tiga-dimensi serta informasi mengenai waktu secara terus menerus di seluruh dunia tanpa bergantung waktu dan cuaca bagi banyak orang secara simultan. Pada pembuatan jam digital tanpa menggunakan Global Positioning System GPS pada kurun waktu tertentu mengalami suatu ketidaktepatan waktu Salah satu contoh bila kita membuat jam digital dengan menggunakan Real Time Clock RTC dalam kurun waktu kurang dari satu tahun jam digital mengalami kemunduran waktu dibandingkan jam yang telah terhubung langsung dengan satelit. Dari hal tersebut maka dimungkinkan dapat dibuat jam digital dengan menggunakan Global Positioning System GPS yang ditampilkan ke moving sign. Adanya teknologi komunikasi serial pada mikrokontroler Atmega 32 sehingga dapat dilakukan pengiriman data ke sebuah mikrokontroler lain. Sehingga nanti untuk kedepannya dapat digunakan beberapa moving sign berbeda yang mengambil data dari sebuah moving sign yang terdapat Global Positioning System GPS yang dihubungkan melalui komunikasi serial menggunakan RS 485. Hasil dari sistem ini moving sign dapat menampilkan data waktu dari GPS sehingga moving sign ini dapat menjadi suatu master clock yang dapat menampilkan waktu yang tepat.. Kata kunci Mikrokontroler ATmega32 mikrokontroler Atmega16 komunikasi serial RS485 dan moving sign.


ABSTRACT

As the mobility of people is very dense then also develops information infrastructure. With the development of this information means then everyone has to have an accurate time data information. Currently the Global Positioning System GPS is widely used worldwide in various fields of application that requires information about the position velocity acceleration or time accurately. This system is designed to provide position and velocity of three-dimensional as well as information regarding the time continuously around the world without depending on the time and weather for many people simultaneously. In making a digital clock without using Global Positioning System GPS at a certain time experiencing an inappropriate time One of the examples when we create a digital clock by using the Real Time Clock RTC within less than one year experienced a setback when a digital clock than the hours that have been connected directly with the satellite. From this it is possible can be made digital clock using the Global Positioning System GPS that is displayed to the moving sign. Serial communication technology on ATmega microcontroller 32 so it can be done sending data to a microcontroller other. So that later in the future can be used several different moving sign that retrieve data from a moving sign that there is a Global Positioning System GPS which is connected via a serial communications using RS 485. Results from this system moving sign can display data from the GPS time so moving sign can become a master clock that can display the right time Keywords Microcontroller ATmega32 Atmega16 microcontroller RS485 serial communication and Moving sign.
