Description:

Air merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan mahluk hidup. Daerah yang permukaan tanahnya lebih tinggi dari pada sumber air dan daerah yang bergelombang akan mengalami kesulitan mendapatkan pasokan air secara kontinue. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka dilakukan perencanaan dan pembuatan teknologi pompa hydram. Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu tentang variasi kemiringan sudut pipa suction agar sesuai dengan kondisi yang diinginkan dan kinerja pompa hydram yang optimal. Variasi kemiringan sudut pipa suction yang digunakan adalah 300, 450, 600, volume tabung udara yang dipakai 5890,5 ml, beban katup limbah 0,604 kg dan menggunakan katub square. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa kemirinagan sudut pipa suction 300 merupakan kondisi yang paling optimal, dimana effisiensi yang dapat dicapai 38,85 % dan kapasitas total yang dihasilkan sebesar 9,528 liter/menit.

Water is one of the important factors that needed in living creatures. Land surface area that is higher than the water source and a corrugated region will have trouble getting supply of water continuously. To solve these problems, then did the planning and making of hydram pump technology. The research is about the effects of variation slope angle on suction pipe in order to appropriate with the desired conditions and hydram pump performance optimal. Variation of the slope angle of suction pipe used is 300, 450, 600, the volume of air tubes used 5890,5 ml, 0,604 kg load of waste valve and use square valve. Based of the result obtained that slope angle the suction pipe 300 is the most optimal conditions, where efficiency can be achieved 38,85% and the resulting completely capacity isn 9,528 liters / minutes.
