ABSTRAK

Base oil merupakan bahan dasar untuk pembuatan pelumas yang bersifat viskos. Pabrik Base Oil dari limbah plastik diproses dengan teknologi Pirolisis yang mempunyai kapasitas sebesar 74.000 tontahun. Lokasi pendirian pabrik direncanakan di Paciran Kab. Lamongan Jawa Timur. Alasan pemilihan lokasi ini yaitu di kawasan industri kemudahan stok bahan baku dan transportasi darat dan laut. Proses produksi base oil terdiri dalam 4 tahap yaitu pre-treatment pirolisis hydroprocessing dan pemurnian. Pada tahap pre-treatment HDPE dan PET diseleksi dicacah dan dilebur di tangki melting. Pada tahap pirolisis lelehan plastik direaksikan di reaktor berpengaduk pada temperature 524oC dan menghasilkan campuran gas C1-C4 fraksi ringan C5-385oC fraksi BBM 385oC produk base oil dan 538oC fraksi berat. Tahap hydroprocessing terdiri dari hydrocracking dan hydrogenasi. Pada hydrocracking campuran senyawa fraksi berat direngkah sedangkan pada hydrogenasi fraksi ringan dijenuhkan menjadi senyawa viskos. Tahap pemurnian produk base oil didistilasi menggunakan distilasi bertingkat. Pabrik ini direncanakan beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 haritahun dan 24 jamhari. HDPE yang dibutuhkan sebesar 215.272 kghari dan PET sebesar 8970 kghari dengan bahan baku pendukung H2. Kebutuhan utilitasnya adalah air sanitasi 1756 air pendingin 85212 air proses 13054 air umpan boiler 281385 masing-masing dalam m3hari.


ABSTRACT

Base oil is the basic ingredient for the manufacture of lubricants that are viscous. The base oil plant plastic waste is handled by the Pyrolysis technology which has a capacity of 74000 tonsyear. Location of planned new plant in Paciran Kab. Lamongan East Java. The reason for choosing this place is located in the industrial zone the simplicity of the stocks of raw materials and land and sea transport. The production process consists of base oil in 4 phases namely pre-treatment pyrolysis hydroprocessing and purification. Pre-treatment of HDPE and PET is selected chopped and melted down in the melting tank. At this stage of pyrolysis of the plastic melt is reacted in the reactor was stirred at 524oC and produce gas mixture of C1-C4light fraction C5-385oC fraction of fuel 385oC product base oil and 538oC weight fraction. Stage hydroprocessing comprises hydrocracking and hydrogenasi. In hydrocracking heavy fraction was cracked mixture of compounds while the light fraction hydrogenasi becomes thick saturated compounds. Oil refining stage is the basic product distilled using a fractionating distillation. This plant is planned to operate continuously for 330 days year and 24 hours day. HDPE is needed is 215272 kg day and PET from 8970 kg day with raw materials supporting H2. Needs of water sanitation utilities is 1.756 cooling water 85.212 process water 13.054 boiler feed water in each of 281.385 m3day.
