Salah satu aplikasi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) yaitu sebagai pendeteksi pencurian pada muatan truk. Pendeteksi pencurian pada muatan truk dengan RFID pada dasarnya sama dengan aplikasi RFID yang lain, biasanya terdapat sensor, unit processor dan relay magnetic. Yang membedakan adalah input yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Pendeteksi pencurian pada muatan truk dengan RFID membutuhkan hardware yaitu: tag RFID, reader RFID, dua mikrokontroler, indikator LED, serial port RS-232, PC, software downloader AVR, GPS, serta modul SMS. Sebagai pusat kendali adalah mikrokontroler ATmega16 yang memproses data masukkan dari reader RFID dan GPS serta PC (komputer) sebagai database program. Kerja dari pendeteksi dengan RFID adalah tag RFID dibaca oleh reader, kemudian data serial (ID) dikirim reader ke mikrokontroler pertama. Dimana jika ID tag RFID sesuai dengan ID yang tersimpan dalam memori maka mikrokontroler pertama mengkomunikasikan data ke mikrokontroler kedua yang secara otomatis akan mengaktifkan GPS dan juga mengirimkan data ke modul GSM. Selanjutnya data yang dikirim tersebut diterima oleh modul Stater Kit yang berada di pusat ekspedisi agar data tersebut dapat diplotkan ke dalam google maps melalui php untuk mengetahui muatan truk yang hilang dan lokasi keberadaan truk ekspedisi. Hasil tugas akhir yang kami hasilkan semoga bisa diaplikasikan di perusahaan � perusahaan ekspedisi.

One application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), namely as a detector in the truck theft. Theft detectors in cargo trucks with RFID is basically the same with the other RFID applications, there is usually a sensor, processor unit and a magnetic relay. The difference is the input that is used is to use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Theft detectors in cargo trucks with RFID requires hardware that is: the RFID tag, RFID reader, two microcontrollers, LED indicators, RS-232 serial port, a PC, the AVR downloader software, GPS and SMS modules. As the control center is the ATmega16 microcontroller that processes the data input from the RFID reader and GPS and a PC (computer) as a database program. Work from detection by RFID is a RFID tag read by the reader, then the serial data (ID) posted the first reader to a microcontroller. Where if the RFID tag ID in accordance with the ID stored in the memory of the first microcontroller to communicate data to a second microcontroller that automatically activates the GPS and also sends data to the GSM module. Furthermore, the data sent is received by the Stater Kit module at the center of the expedition so that data can be plotted into the google maps via php to find the missing cargo trucks and the location of the expedition truck. The results that we deliver the final project may be applied in the company - freight forwarders.
