RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PENGENDALIAN KADAR AIR PADA MESIN PENGERING PADI BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ARDUINO UNO ATMEGA328

ABSTRAK

Padi yang baru dipanen mengandung kadar air sekitar 20- 26 padahal sesuai standard PUSLITBANG Departemen Pertanian Republik Indonesia adalah 14. Pengeringan padi adalah usaha untuk menurunkan kadar air dari padi sesuai dengan standard tersebut. Telah dirancang dan dibuat sistem pengendalian kadar air pada mesin pengering padi berbasis mikrokontroler arduino uno ATmega 328. Percobaan ini menggunakan sensor SHT11 dan dikontrol oleh mikrokontroler arduino uno 328 yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kadar air padi. Berdasarkan perbandingan pengukuran alat dan penurunan kadar air secara teori didapatkan error maksimal 03 pada massa 261 gram 16 pada massa 251 gram dan 25 pada massa 245 gram. Penurunan kadar air pada mesin pengering padi ini didapatkan yaitu dengan kapasitas 50 kg dan 100 kg. pada kapasitas 50 kg membutuhkan waktu 36 menit 3 detik untuk mencapai kadar air 14 sedangkan kapasitas 100 kg membutuhkan waktu 1 jam 35 menit 20 detik.


ABSTRACT

Newly harvested rice contains about 20-26 water whereas the corresponding standard agricultural Research and Development Depertement of Republic Indonesia is 14. Dryng rice is an attempt to decrease water content of rice based on the standard. Control system water content has been designed based on Microcontroller arduino uno ATmega 328. The xperiment uses sensor SHT11and controlled by Microcontroller arduino uno ATmega 328 which used to determine the water content of rice. Based on the comparison between device measurement and water content decrease obtained maximum error is 03 in the 261 gram mass 16 in 251 gram mass and 25 in 245 gram mass. The decrease of water content in drying rice machine obtained are 50 kg and 100 kg. the capacity of 50kg takes 36 minutes 3 seconds to raise the water content 14 whereas the capacity 100 kg takes 1 hour 35 minutes 20 seconds.
