ABSTRAK

Pengujian pertama yang dilakukan pada frame ini adalah dengan Magnetic Particle Inspection MPI yang dapat memeriksa cacat permukaan dan sub-surface. Bagian yang diuji MPI yaitu hasil pengelasan di sekitar pad eyes.Pengujian ini dilakukan beberapa kali dengan merubah posisi yoke. Pengujian kedua adalah Lifting Test atau uji angkat dimana untuk mengetahui apakah frame tersebut dapat mengangkat beban dari kompresor. Kompresor dengan dimensi 3810 x 2150 x 1750 mm ini mempunyai berat 35 ton sedangkan frame mempunyai SWL Safe Working Load sebesar 475 ton yang artinya frame tersebut dapat bekerja secara aman dengan beban angkat maksimum 475 ton sehingga kemampuan angkut frame pada saat pengujian harus lebih berat dari 475 ton. Pada pengujian ini ditambahkan satu kompresor sebagai beban tambahan untuk menguji kekuatan frame. Penambahan beban dilakukan dengan mengaitkan beban dibagian bawah frame.


ABSTRACT

The first testing on this frame is by Magnetic Particle Inspection MPI which is can check surface defects and sub-surface. MPI tested part of the welding around pad eyes. The test is performed several times by changing the position of yoke. The second Test is a Lifting Test to check out if the frame can lift the load from the compressor. Compressor with dimensions of 3810 x 2150 x 1750 mm has a weight of 3.5 tons while the frame has a SWL Safe Working Load of 4.75 tons which means the frame has to work safely with the maximum lifting load 4.75 tons so the ability transport frame during the test should be more severe than 4.75 tonnes. In this test added a compressor as an additional burden to test the strength of the frame. The addition of the load carried by associating the load at the bottom of the frame.
