EVALUATION OF BOILER PERFORMANCE CAPACITY 10 TPH IN FSO CINTA NATOMAS

ABSTRAK
Boiler merupakan suatu peralatan yang efisiensinya harus dipantau secara berkala agar bisa diketahui apakah penggunaan bahan bakar akan menghasilkan output yang sesuai. Banyak komponen pendukung yang berpengaruh pada efisiensi boiler salah satunya adalah pembakaran yang tidak sempurna sehingga menyebabkan penurunan efesiensi.
Dari perhitungan efesiensi boiler milik FSO Cinta Natomas diperoleh yaitu diperoleh efesiensi 6986 pada tahun 2008 diperoleh 7989 pada tahun 2009 diperoleh 793 pada tahun 2010 diperoleh 7333 dan pada tahun 2011 diperoleh 7474 . Perhitungan tersebut dilakukan dengan metode perhitungan termis dengan membandingkan output dan input dari boiler.
Berdasarkan perhitungan efesiensi boiler dengan menggunakan data sheet log harian operasional boiler diperoleh efesiensi dengan rata-rata 7543Oleh karena itu guna meningkatan efesiensi diperlukan usaha dalam memaksimalkan energi yang diperoleh dari sistem boiler diantara peningkatan efesiensi tersebut adalah meminimalisir pembakaran yang tidak sempurna dan penggunaan air umpan yang baik.
ABSTRACT
Boiler efficiency is an equipment which should be monitored regularly in order to know whether the use of fuel will produce a corresponding output. Many of the supporting components that affect the efficiency of the boiler one of which is incomplete combustion resulting in decreased efficiency.
From calculations of boiler efficiency in FSO Cinta Natomas obtained namely efficiency gained 69.86 in 2008 gained 79.89 in 2009 gained 79.3 in 2010 gained 73.33 and in 2011 obtained 74.74. The calculation is performed with the thermal calculation method by comparing the output and input of the boiler.
Based on the calculation of boiler efficiency by using a daily log sheet data boiler operation efficiency is obtained with an average of 75.43 therefore necessary to increase efforts in maximizing the efficiency of energy obtained from the boiler system increasing efficiency among these are minimize combustion are not perfect and a good use of feed water.
