ABSTRAK

Sistem penerangan jalan umum adalah pelayanan yang menerangi jalan umum dimana penerangan ini lampu hanya dinyalakan pada malam hari penerangan jalan umum menggunakan lampu merkuri dan memakan daya yang besar dalam menerangi jalanan selama malam hari hingga waktu menjelang pagi sehingga tidak efisien dalam penggunaan daya Oleh karena itu penulis membuat suatu simulasi yang dipergunakan dalam jalan TOL dimana penerangan tersebut akan diatur penerangan lampu berdasarkan jumlah kendaraan yang lewat. Pada penerangan lampu TOL yang ada seperti merkuri digantikan oleh LED dimana lebih efisien dalam hal pemakaian daya dan intensitas cahaya yang sama terang. Dalam pengaturan penerangan jalan TOL kendaraan yang lewat gerbang masuk akan terbaca oleh sensor phototransistor yang difungsikan sebagai inisialisasi jumlah kendaraan yang melewati gerbang TOL sehingga dari mikrokontroler dapat membedakan jumlah data yang dikirim oleh phototransistor sebagai bagian pengaturan lebar pulsa untuk mengatur mosfet pada buck konverter sehingga penerangan LED dapat diatur sesuai kendaraan yang melewati gerbang TOL dan menambah nilai efisiensi pemakaian penerangan jalan.


ABSTRACT

Public street lighting system is the service that illuminate public streets where lighting is the lamp only swihted on when the day started late at this public roads using mercury lamp and power consuming a large part in illuminating the streets during the night until the dawn of time resulting in inefficient use of power. Therefore the authors make a simulation that will be used in road TOL where the lighting will be adjust lighting based on the number of passing vehicles. TOL lights on the existing lighting such as mercury be replaced by LEDs which is more efficient in terms of power consumption and bright light is the same. In street lighting arrangement TOL passing vehicle entrance gate will be read by phototransistor sensors that input to the microcontroller which will then set the buck konvereter to regulate the LED. appropriate vehicle through the gate TOL and add value to the efficiency of the use of street lighting.
